Next week is the last week of the regular season for most fantasy football leagues. Those who made it into the playoffs probably have a solid roster that got them there. However, it doesn\u2019t mean anyone should be sitting idle not making moves. There are still plenty of players to keep on the radar, even this late in the season. For week 13, DeAndre Washington<\/a><\/strong>, Darnell Mooney<\/a><\/strong>, and Trey Burton<\/a><\/strong> are names to monitor during their team\u2019s game.<\/p>\n

Week 13 Fantasy Football Watch List: <\/strong>DeAndre Washington, Darnell Mooney<\/strong><\/h2>\n

DeAndre Washington <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The running back room for the Miami Dolphins<\/a> team is as murky as ever. Most fantasy analysts debated between either Matt Breida<\/a><\/strong> or Jordan Howard<\/a><\/strong> getting most of the touches before the year started. However, Myles Gaskin<\/a><\/strong> came out of nowhere to be a surprise star in fantasy circles.<\/p>\n

Gaskin started the first eight weeks before suffering a knee injury that landed him on short-term Injured Reserve<\/a>. From there, Salvon Ahmed<\/a><\/strong> came in and also looked surprisingly good. However, attrition hit again, and Ahmed injured his shoulder<\/a> and couldn\u2019t play week 12.<\/p>\n

This left Breida as the top player and gave an opportunity for DeAndre Washington to get some time. Washington ended up out-touching Breida 15 to 10. It is worth noting, that Breida fumbled in the third quarter, and after that, Washington got nine touches to Breida\u2019s one<\/a>. Remember, Washington started three games in place of an injured Josh Jacobs<\/a> last season. He totaled 334 yards from scrimmage and scored four touchdowns.<\/p>\n

Still, the most important thing to note is that Gaskin is likely back next week. Ahmed also probably earned the number two spot., However, with both coming back from injury, there is risk for re-aggravation. Washington could now be the third-string back, and coming into the fantasy playoffs he and the rest of the Dolphins running backs need to be monitored closely.<\/p>\n

Darnell Mooney<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This one is the deep dive of the week, but Chicago Bears<\/a> wide receiver Darnell Mooney is a wide receiver to watch in week 13. Mooney hasn\u2019t turned in any real fantasy-relevant games. He has only topped 50 yards twice the entire year. And just two weeks ago, Mooney only totaled three receiving yards.<\/p>\n

But aside from that dud game, Mooney has been trending upwards since week seven. He has at least six targets in four of the last five games, and at least nine in two of the last three. Mooney needs to work on bringing in those targets. In that same three-game span, he has only brought in 10 of 22 targets.<\/p>\n

But he has relatively favorable matchups the next few weeks, going up against the Detroit Lions<\/a>, Houston Texans<\/a>, Minnesota Vikings<\/a>, and Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>. For fantasy managers in deep leagues who need a body, Mooney is a decent dice roll if he can start reeling in more of those targets.<\/p>\n

Trey Burton<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Every year the tight end landscape is not very good. Usually, outside of the top three, there isn\u2019t much of a difference between guys after that. But this year is especially bad. Travis Kelce<\/a><\/strong> and Darren Waller<\/a><\/strong> are overall the top dogs, and the dropoff is huge after that. One under-the-radar guy who has been rising recently is Trey Burton of the Indianapolis Colts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Burton didn\u2019t see game action until week four. But, he is TE10<\/a> in half-PPR since then, averaging 7.9 points. This isn\u2019t great, but not terrible either. And, he is emerging as a red-zone threat for veteran Philip Rivers<\/a><\/strong>. He has a touchdown now in consecutive games, and great matchups the next three weeks.<\/p>\n

He faces Houston twice, and then the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a>. Championship week is a little tough, against the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> though. Still, he might help fantasy team managers get there. Burton may not be someone to keep and stash, but he is a solid streaming option at the very least.<\/p>\n
