Are you right in the hunt for the championship trophy this season or are you trying to play spoiler to some of the opposing teams in your league? Either way, the only thing worse than losing a matchup, is having the reason you lost be because your bench players outscored your starters. Here are three players to lock into your Week 11 fantasy football lineup that you may not have considered starting this week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Three Must Start Week 11 Fantasy Football Players<\/h2>\n<h3><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=NewtCa00,NewtCa20&amp;search=Cam+Newton&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cam Newton<\/a> &#8211; <\/b><b>Quarterback<\/b><b>, <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/patriots\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New England Patriots<\/a><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now I\u2019ll be honest; I know Cam Newton has been an emotional roller coaster ride this year if you have him on your fantasy roster. You felt you got a late-round steal after he took the league by storm in his return to football with four <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rushing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> touchdowns in the first two weeks. But that electric start was followed up with a dud in Week 3, and then he missed the following game after being placed on the COVID-19 list. After that, he just didn\u2019t look quite the same for the better part of a month. But after an atrocious showing against the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/49ers\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Francisco 49ers<\/a> in Week 7 that led to a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dknation.draftkings.com\/nfl\/2020\/10\/25\/21533553\/patriots-bench-cam-newton-jarrett-stidham-starting-quarterback-week-7-vs-49ers\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">second-half benching<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Newton has pulled off some decent fantasy games, while upping his value with a whopping <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/stats\/player\/_\/view\/offense\/stat\/rushing\/table\/rushing\/sort\/rushingTouchdowns\/dir\/desc\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nine rushing touchdowns<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; trailing only the bruising running back <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CookDa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dalvin Cook<\/a><\/strong> and an MVP-front runner quarterback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MurrKy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kyler Murray<\/a><\/strong> in that category.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The upside with Cam\u2019s legs is one of the highest at the quarterback position. So if you didn&#8217;t toss him to the waivers after his series of bad games, or if you were lucky enough to see his upward trend the past few weeks and snag him back up before anyone else did, it feels like your patience (or quickness) is going to begin paying off. Not only will Newton have a great matchup against a struggling <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/texans\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Houston Texans<\/a> team this week, but after that, the Patriots play the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/cardinals\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Cardinals<\/a>, followed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/chargers\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> &#8211; two defenses that are in the top third of the league in allowing fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. While the obvious downside to Cam has been his lack of passing efficiency (he has just <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/stats\/player\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">three passing touchdowns, along with seven interceptions and only 1,535 yards<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on the season), expect those numbers to get a boost and his legs to continue to fuel your QB1 slot the next few weeks as \u2018Super Cam\u2019 efficiently produces in a Patriots\u2019 offense looking to make a run for the playoffs in this latter part of the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Best comp. % last 2 weeks: Cam Newton (77%) <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9VbyCy9Viv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/9VbyCy9Viv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; PFF (@PFF) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PFF\/status\/1328333506267779073?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">November 16, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McKiJ.00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">J.D. McKissic<\/a> &#8211; <\/b><b>Running Back<\/b><b>, Washington Football Team\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">29 targets. That is the most targets by any player in the league over the past two weeks and this statistic is what makes J.D. McKissic one of the best PPR pickups this year. Since <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=SmitAl03,SmitAl02&amp;search=Alex+Smith&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alex Smith<\/a><\/strong> entered the game as the starter at the end of the first quarter in Week 9, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fantasypros.com\/nfl\/reports\/targets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">McKissic has turned his 29 targets<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> into 16 catches for 108 yards. And while he is a running back by trade, he is seeing <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">elite<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> WR1-type targets on an offense where Smith continues to put the ball in his favorite &#8220;receivers&#8221; hands. While starting running back <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=GibsAn00,GibsAn20&amp;search=Antonio+Gibson&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Antonio Gibson<\/a><\/strong> and wideout <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McLaTe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Terry McLaurin<\/a><\/strong> have also seemed to benefit in this Alex Smith-led offense, no one has emerged or produced quite like McKissic has from Smith\u2019s presence in the lineup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A lot of people may have added McKissic to their rosters a few weeks back (even before Smith took over the reins), assuming he\u2019d touch the ball a handful of times so he\u2019d give you a decent floor if one of your backs had a bye week. But now we are seeing a running back who is not just receiving check-downs but is being sought out after all over the field, and is securing an increasingly large <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.playerprofiler.com\/nfl\/jd-mckissic\/#!#game-log\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">snap share percentage<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (85.4 percent in Week 9 and 69.1 percent in Week 10) as well. He even snagged a goal-line rushing touchdown in Week 10, adding even more to his value as a runner. With two solid matchups coming up against the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/bengals\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/cowboys\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dallas Cowboys<\/a>, look for McKissic to keep seeing plenty of looks as the Washington offense keeps putting points on the board.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Most targets last two weeks<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd39 J.D. We all know how explosive the Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver has been this year (both in real life and in the fantasy world), but there have been some downsides that could have led you to put him on your bench in recent weeks. With the Vikings continuously leaning on their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/nfl\/news\/dalvin-cook-for-mvp-breaking-down-vikings-stars-incredible-2020-pace-by-the-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">star running back, <strong>Dalvin Cook<\/strong>, as of late<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Minnesota hasn&#8217;t been putting the ball in the air all that often. And when they are forced to throw the ball downfield more, Jefferson is competing for touches with phenomenal wide receiver <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/ThieAd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adam Thielen<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After his breakout game in Week 3, Jefferson has been quite \u2018boom or bust\u2019; but we all know that when he \u2018booms\u2019 it\u2019s in a very big way. However, following Minnesota\u2019s Week 7 bye, he only recorded six catches for 90 yards in his next two games. He has also only seen <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fantasypros.com\/nfl\/games\/justin-jefferson.php\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">more than five targets in three games<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> this year. Yet what makes Jefferson a locked-in start for this week and the foreseeable future, is not only his upside against an excellent matchup against a <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/cowboys\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dallas Cowboys<\/a> defense that is allowing the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamrankings.com\/nfl\/stat\/opponent-passing-touchdowns-per-game\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">third-most passing touchdowns per game<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but also the fact that he hauled in a third of quarterback\u2019s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CousKi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kirk Cousins<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 completions in Week 10, catching eight of 10 targets for 135 yards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His explosiveness has always been worth a shot in your lineup; but if this combination of target share can continue along with his uncanny ability to separate from defenders, he will launch into \u2018must start\u2019 status every week.
