Looking around the league shows that players like Tee Higgins and Travis Fulgham offer the best chance of positive performance in the coming weeks.

Note that, in order to be eligible for this list, the player needed to be available in at least 50% of fantasy leagues. Obviously, there is some variation from league to league, so make sure to peruse all available players before making your claims. There could be a better option available in your specific league.

Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups: Running Back – Wide Receiver – Quarterback – Defense

Tee Higgins, Travis Fulgham Highlight Fantasy Football Week 7 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups

Tee Higgins

Higgins is a stud and is entering must-start territory. The rookie sensation is quickly becoming Joe Burrow’s favorite target, recording six receptions for 125 yards on eight targets against a fantastic Indianapolis Colts defense. This wasn’t a one-week fluke, as Higgins has now put together a strong fantasy performance in each of the past four weeks.

Higgins is already worthy of a flex play, and he should only get better as the season progresses. Both he and Burrow are improving as football players each and every week, and it stands to reason that their production will increase as they become more and more accustomed to NFL life. Higgins faces off against the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 and shouldn’t have any trouble getting open and making even more plays.

Travis Fulgham

I had Travis Fulgham on this list last week, but I said not to start him until he proved he wasn’t a one-week fluke. The data is in, and he’s the real deal. After breaking out in Week 5, Fulgham established himself as Philadelphia’s best receiver by hauling in six receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. He did this against a great Baltimore Ravens defense and should be able to do it again in Week 7.

The Eagles face off against the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football. The Giants, of course, have James Bradberry, which could be a problem for Fulgham’s outlook. However, DeSean Jackson is supposed to come back against New York, and he’ll probably draw Bradberry’s coverage more often than not. Don’t be afraid to lock Fulgham into one of your receiver spots against an otherwise bad defense.

Mike Williams

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams would have been on this list earlier if it wasn’t for the bye week. However, the former first-round pick is back on the field and should be a solid flex play in the short term with season-long upside. In Week 5, Williams recorded five receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns and should only continue to improve.

Williams is at his best making circus catches on the outside, and Justin Herbert’s massive arm is a perfect match for this skill set. The major worry here is that Williams’ big game came without Keenan Allen, and he should return to the lineup in Week 7. This does put a cap on Williams’ overall ceiling, but he should still be a fine enough play if you cannot get Higgins or Fulgham.

Keelan Cole

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Keelan Cole isn’t exciting, and he’s definitely not a consistent fantasy option. However, if you’re in a deeper league and need a quick play, you could certainly do worse. The former undrafted free agent had a great game in Week 6, recording six receptions for 143 yards on nine targets.

This wasn’t his first big game of the season, as Cole has seen at least five targets in each outing to date. While he might not always come through, the opportunity for a solid game should always be there – especially against a Los Angeles Chargers defense that could be missing quite a few pieces in the secondary.

Tim Patrick

It might be time to start giving some respect to Tim Patrick. The wide receiver is one of the last men standing in an otherwise-depleted receiving corps, but he still has the ability to make plays down the field. Facing off against the New England Patriots, Patrick finished his night with four receptions for 101 yards on eight targets. This is an impressive outing, especially considering Drew Lock only threw for 189 yards.

This marks two straight games where Patrick hit the 100-yard receiving mark, and three straight games where he hit double-digit fantasy points. If Noah Fant and/or K.J. Hamler can’t go in Week 7, Patrick has a good chance to put up another solid fantasy week. The Broncos face off against the Kansas City Chiefs, so Denver will have to throw early and often to keep up.

Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups: Running Back – Wide Receiver – Quarterback – Defense

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy Football Week 7 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups: Tee Higgins, Travis Fulgham, Mike Williams, Keelan Cole, Tim Patrick.

[59
509,1254,294,61,5819,6350,3436,1670,40,4534,6178,4542,7076
post-96451","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","tag-a-j-green","tag-desean-jackson","tag-fantasy-football","tag-football","tag-joe-burrow","tag-k-j-hamler","tag-keelan-cole","tag-mike-williams","tag-nfl","tag-noah-fant","tag-tee-higgins","tag-tim-patrick","tag-travis-fulgham
["GET
