Four weeks into the 2020 NFL season, NFL analysts and experts are starting to see the cracks in all 32 teams. There are some teams that are having to make several changes to their starters this early into the season. In the meanwhile, there are serious changes that these teams must address in the 2021 NFL Draft on April 29th, 2021. While it is only four weeks into the season, here is the progress of the team’s needs in the 2021 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n
Sam Darnold<\/strong><\/a> is not the problem of the Jets’ terrible offense. At this point, they need a complete rebuild: trade Darnold for a second-round pick and an offensive lineman to receive the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Dolphins just paid their star receiver in DeVante Parker<\/a><\/strong> to a big contract but they could use another impact receiver for their future starting quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Giants allowed 14 sacks throughout the entire season in four games. They need another reliable tackle that can run and pass block efficiently.<\/p>\n Atlanta\u2019s defense has only produced seven sacks throughout the entire four games into the season. They move on from their more disappointing veteran pass rushers for a younger one.<\/p>\n Gardner Minshew II <\/a><\/strong>appears to be their future going forward, at least for now. Their offensive line, who has given up 13 sacks, needs an immediate upgrade.<\/p>\n In an underwhelming NFC East, the Redskins have not been able to jump to the front due to some underwhelming quarterback play from the second-year player in Dwayne Haskins Jr<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n The defense for the Cowboys has one of the most disappointing units in the league. The defense has given up 12 passing touchdowns, tied for second-most in the league.<\/p>\n The offensive line for the Broncos have given up 13 sacks so far this season and have gotten their franchise quarterback Drew Lock<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0hurt.<\/p>\n Los Angeles\u2019 defense was dismantled by the five passing touchdown performance from Tom Brady<\/a><\/strong> this past weekend. They are ranked 25th in the league in passing yards allowed per game (263).<\/p>\n The Vikings need to establish their starting cornerbacks unit as they are currently ranked 29th in the league in passing yards allowed per game (291.8).<\/p>\n The Dolphins have been all over the place with their secondary and could use another key coverage player as well as one of the best players available.<\/p>\n The Lions will need more support in the defensive run game as they ranked 30th in the league in rushing yards allowed per game (170.3).<\/p>\n Cincinnati has found their franchise quarterback in Joe Burrow<\/a><\/strong> but they will need to protect him as they allowed him to be sacked 15 times in four games, the second-most in the league.<\/p>\n It has been a rough year for the 49ers and their defense with key injuries. The bright side of the season is that they can select the best inside linebacker for their team since Patrick Willis<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Cardinals have been beaten too many times defending the passing game. They could use one of the most reliable man coverage cornerbacks in Wilson.<\/p>\n The offensive line is a huge area to address but they are currently too far to select a reliable tackle. They can pick up the most dynamic wide receiver in the draft to be their new number one.<\/p>\n The Raiders will very likely continue their strange drafting as they will need to address the interior defensive line this far back in the Draft.<\/p>\n New England\u2019s offense has a great slate of slot receivers but they lack an explosive outside receiver for quarterback Cam Newton<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Once again, the Eagles have a huge problem with the lack of productivity and reliability or health at the wide receiver position. They need another first-round talent at receiver before Carson Wentz<\/a><\/strong> starts to decline.<\/p>\n Jared Cook<\/a><\/strong> has been an impactful tight end for the Saint but Pitts\u2019 dominance and reliability will be a great fit for Sean Payton\u2019s offense.<\/p>\n The Colts will need a new number one wide receiver after seeing the continuing decline of T.Y. Hilton<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Buccaneers need youth and productivity at the end position where the defensive line has accounted for four total sacks this season.<\/p>\n Cleveland\u2019s defense needs serious support in the backside of their defense. Holland\u2019s contributions to stopping the run and passing game will be a huge difference.<\/p>\n The Jaguars’ defense has only accounted for four sacks so far this season with none of the contributors coming from the defensive line.<\/p>\n The Bears are finally able to move on from the poor performances of Mitchell Trubisky <\/a><\/strong>with a more explosive passer in the Fields.<\/p>\n Baltimore’s starting center in Matt Skura<\/a><\/strong> is under a one-year contract with the Ravens and their interior offensive line needs some support and youth.<\/p>\n Pittsburgh will eventually need a new starting quarterback after Ben Roethlisberger <\/a><\/strong>is done. The Steelers would be smart to grab their eventual franchise quarterback.<\/p>\n The Titans will need more impact on the defensive line, especially the edge, outside of Jadeveon<\/strong> Clowney<\/strong><\/a>. Roche is a player that can create a high-amount of sacks and tackles for loss.<\/p>\n Green Bay could use as much impact and talent on the defensive side of the ball as possible. Bolton can provide great support in defending the run and passing game.<\/p>\n The Bills could use more support in run blocking as they are ranked 28th in the league in rushing yards per game (93.3).<\/p>\n The Jets have allowed 12 sacks throughout the season and are even worse in creating a consistent run block. They need serious support.<\/p>\n The Chiefs did not add too much support on the offensive line in the previous offseason.
