After what feels like an eternity, NFL football is finally back. Months and months of devoted research, analysis, and data crunching has once again proven useless by the cruel hand of the fantasy football gods. Now, if you\u2019re looking to find a quarterback stream, you\u2019ll need to check the waiver wire for guys like Gardner Minshew<\/a>, Joe Burrow<\/a><\/strong>, and\u00a0Mitchell Trubisky<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Note that in order to be eligible for this list, the player needed to be available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues. Obviously, there is variation from league to league, so there is a chance that a better player is currently available on your league\u2019s waiver wire.<\/p>\n

Week 2 Waiver Wire Streams: Running Back<\/a> – Wide Receiver<\/a> – Tight End<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Gardner Minshew, Joe Burrow Highlight Fantasy Football Week 2 Quarterback Waiver Wire Streams<\/h2>\n

Gardner Minshew<\/h3>\n

The Jacksonville Jaguars don\u2019t need to Tank for Trevor when they already have Gardner Minshew. The former sixth-round pick is the real deal and should be a solid streaming option throughout the season. In Week 1, the second-year pro went up against a solid Indianapolis Colts defense and threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns while adding another 19 yards on the ground.<\/p>\n

Minshew isn\u2019t Lamar Jackson<\/a><\/strong>, but he has the rushing ability to ensure a safe baseline on a weekly basis. Jacksonville\u2019s unquestioned starter might not be an elite play in Week 1, but you could do a lot worse on the waiver wire. After all, the Tennessee Titans aren\u2019t exactly the 1985 Chicago Bears.<\/p>\n

Joe Burrow<\/h3>\n

After one week, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is as advertised. The first-overall pick might not have earned a victory in his NFL debut, but he still managed to record 193 passing yards, 46 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown against a very good Los Angeles Chargers defense. He wasn\u2019t afraid to push the ball downfield and his rushing ability gives his a safe floor with solid upside.<\/p>\n

Burrow has the fortune of going up against a Cleveland Browns defense that was absolutely decimated by Lamar Jackson in Week 1. Burrow is no Jackson, but he should be able to take advantage of this underwhelming unit. He should be a safe bet for a top 15-20 performance, which is all you can ask out of a waiver wire stream.<\/p>\n

Mitchell Trubisky<\/h3>\n

Mitchell Trubisky is not a good quarterback. However, he can be a good streaming option in the right matchup. Last week, the former second-overall pick recorded 242 passing yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions while adding an additional 26 yards on the ground. In fairness, Trubisky did this against the Detroit Lions, a team he historically has success against.<\/p>\n

Trubisky has another favorable matchup in Week 2. The New York Giants are one of the least-talented defenses in the league and don\u2019t have a reliable way to stop an opposing passing attack. Trubisky won\u2019t have to do too much to put up a decent performance. Basically, all he\u2019ll need to do is find Allen Robinson<\/a><\/strong> and throw it to him every single time.<\/p>\n
