New York Jets Easiest Games in 2020<\/strong><\/h2>\n

9. Week 7: vs <\/strong>Buffalo Bills<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Any contest against Sean McDermott<\/strong><\/a>‘s Bills is not an easy one. That does not change here as their second meeting of the season takes place at MetLife. After the Bills comeback win in New Jersey to open last season, the Jets will be determined to prevent that from happening. It will also be the fourth meeting between Sam Darnold<\/strong><\/a> and Josh Allen<\/strong><\/a>, with Darnold leading the series 2-1.<\/p>\n

10. Week 5: vs Arizona Cardinals\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Gang Green will be coming off of an extended week as a loaded Cardinals offense comes to town. Offensive guru Kliff Kingsbury<\/strong><\/a> and Kyler Murray<\/strong><\/a> will look to wreak havoc on the Jets secondary with the receiving trio of DeAndre Hopkins<\/strong><\/a>, Larry Fitzgerald<\/strong><\/a>, and Christian Kirk<\/strong><\/a>. For the Jets, they will hope defensive coordinator Gregg Williams<\/strong><\/a> has some tricks up his sleeve to take advantage of a below-average Cardinals’ offensive line. And on offense, head coach Adam Gase<\/a><\/strong> will do the same against a so-so Cardinals secondary.<\/p>\n

11. Week 3: at Indianapolis Colts<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Jets tough opening stretch does not get easier as after playing the 49ers, they fly to Indianapolis for a Thursday Night Football showdown against the Colts. Newcomers in quarterback Philip Rivers<\/strong><\/a> and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner<\/strong><\/a> have the Colts setting their sights on the playoffs, while the Jets could be in a desperate scramble to keep from starting 0-3. Luckily for the Jets, the Colts’ questionable secondary could come in their favor, as Darnold will look to explode in prime time against them.<\/p>\n

12. Week 4: vs Denver Broncos<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Similar to the Jets, the Broncos have a good defense, revamped offense, and young quarterback. Except the Broncos have two men named Von Miller<\/a><\/strong> and Bradley Chubb<\/strong><\/a> rushing off the edge. Yet another early-season challenge for the Jets offensive line, they are at hope on a long week coming off of the Colts game. With that extra time to prepare, Jamal Adams<\/strong><\/a> and company could rattle Drew Lock<\/strong><\/a> and win their second game against Denver in three years.<\/p>\n

13. Week 6: at Los Angeles Chargers<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Whether or not familiar foe Tyrod Taylor<\/strong><\/a> or rookie Justin Herbert<\/strong><\/a> is under center for the Chargers, this will not be an easy game by any means. The Chargers have the weapons if healthy to make it to the playoffs, including receiving duo, Keenan Allen<\/a>,<\/strong> and Mike Williams<\/strong><\/a>. Nevertheless, the losses of running back Melvin Gordon<\/strong><\/a> and left tackle Russell Okung<\/strong><\/a> leave them weaker on offense than a season ago. In a homecoming game to California for Darnold, the Jets hope to steal one on the road no matter who is the opposing quarterback.<\/p>\n

14. Week 10: at Miami Dolphins<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The dreaded annual trip to Hard Rock Stadium, the Jets will look to end their four-game losing streak when playing in Miami. At the point, who knows who they will face, whether veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick<\/strong><\/a> or rookie Tua Tagovailoa<\/strong><\/a>. For the Jets to take one on the road, Darnold will need to overcome his Miami woes with five interceptions in two games there. The receiver-cornerback duel between the Jets and Dolphins will also be something to watch after the Dolphins added Byron Jones<\/strong><\/a> and Noah Igbinoghbene<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

15. Week 12: vs <\/strong>Miami Dolphins<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Their second game in three weeks against each other, one of these teams could clinch an important two-game win streak. Settling back in at home is big for the Jets, in addition to head coach Adam Gase’s desire to beat his former team. Both teams are coming off of their bye weeks and will look to take advantage of their refreshed rosters.<\/p>\n

16. Week 13: vs Las Vegas Raiders<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Raiders came to MetLife in Week 12 last season as playoff hopefuls and left on a downward spiral. Their 34-3 loss was the first of five losses in their final six games. While the Raiders added plenty of offensive weapons in the draft, they will be relying on a lot of defensive player development. Gang Green will look to win a seventh straight against the Raiders at home before a back-to-back on the west coast.<\/span><\/p>\n
