Despite the below-.500 record, this was the best stretch of the decade for the team. Cousins\u2019 best season was back in 2015, where he threw for 4,166 yards with 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He was best known for his ability to gain yards after the catch. His best season came in 2013, where he put up 113 receptions for 1,346 yards and five touchdowns. Crowder\u2019s departure left a significant hole in the slot &#8211; he would have made a great intermediate target for sophomore quarterback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HaskDw00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dwayne Haskins<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Tight End: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/ReedJo02.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Reed<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/jordan-reed-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jordan Reed<\/strong><\/a> dealt with a myriad of injuries during his Redskins career from 2013-2018, but he was a stud when healthy. Reed was one of the more athletic tight ends in the NFL, putting up 87 receptions for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns in his best season in D.C. It\u2019s a shame that injuries deprived the team of a potentially special player at the tight end position.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Offensive Tackle: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WillTr21.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trent Williams<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/trent-williams-2.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trent Williams<\/a><\/strong> was widely considered to be one of the premier offensive tackles in the sport during his Redskins tenure from 2010-2018. Williams made the Pro Bowl for seven consecutive seasons from 2012-2018. He was the best player on a strong offensive line that helped create a dominant running game for the Redskins back in 2012. It\u2019s a shame that Williams had to leave on bad terms with the team.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Offensive Tackle: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MoseMo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Morgan Moses<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Morgan Moses<\/strong> has been a fixture on the Redskins offensive line since 2014. He\u2019s provided stability at right tackle and has become one of the better linemen on the team. Moses paired with Trent Williams to give the Redskins a strong pair of bookends for the past five seasons. The team will need him to step up once again in 2020 with the absence of Williams and an offensive line in transition.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Offensive Guard: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/ScheBr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brandon Scherff<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/brandon-scherff-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brandon Scherff<\/a><\/strong> has been the second-best offensive lineman on the Redskins (behind Trent Williams) since he was drafted fifth overall by the team back in 2015. Scherff has made the Pro Bowl three times in his career. Like Morgan Moses, the team will be counting on him to step up in 2020 with the offensive line in a state of disarray.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Offensive Guard: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LichKo20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kory Lichtensteiger<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Kory Lichtensteiger<\/strong> was a key contributor on a dominant Redskins\u2019 offensive line back in 2012, helping pave the way for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sports-reference.com\/cfb\/players\/robert-griffin-iii-1.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert Griffin III<\/a><\/strong> and Alfred Morris to wreak havoc in the running game. Lichtensteiger stayed on the team from 2010-2016, shifting between center and guard. He was a perfect fit for the zone-blocking scheme employed by the Shanahans.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Center: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MontWi20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Will Montgomery<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Will Montgomery<\/strong> was another important piece on that 2012 offensive line that was widely considered to be one of the best in the NFL.
