Free agency changes the needs of teams across the leagues, which obviously goes on to impact the NFL Draft. Analysts across the country are doing their best to break down these updated needs to give the clearest picture possible as to what to expect in a months’ time. Without further ado, here is a Seattle Seahawks mock draft roundup from all across the internet.

Seattle Seahawks Mock Draft Roundup: Fixing the Trenches

Lance Zierlien – NFL.com

Austin Jackson, OT

In what’s becoming something of an annual tradition, the Seattle Seahawks need to do something to keep Russell Wilson upright and healthy. Wilson’s improvisational style of play is always going to lead to an above-average sack rate, but the offensive line desperately needs some more talent. Jackson is a raw prospect, but he has the potential to develop into a franchise tackle.

NFL Mock Draft: Post-Free Agency Edition – Last Word on Pro Football

Austin Jackson, OT

More of the same here. Austin Jackson is the sixth tackle off the board in this mock, and it’s hard to imagine Seattle getting any of the top five. Tristian Wirfs, Andrew Thomas, Jedrick Willis, and Mekhi Becton are all top-15 picks, and Josh Jones goes off the board in the top 20. Seattle isn’t a team to trade up, so they’ll probably just let the best player available fall into their lap.

Joe Marino – The Draft Network

A.J. Epenesa, EDGE [Scouting Report]

Whether Jadeveon Clowney returns or not, the Seattle Seahawks need to boost up their defensive line. A.J. Epenesa had a rough day at the NFL Combine, but the film shows a player that can make a difference on the edge. While he’s probably never going to be a 15-sack type of player, he can collapse the pocket, set the edge, and free up space for other defenders to make the play.

Sports Illustrated Three-Round NFL Mock Draft

Yetur Gross-Matos, EDGE [Scouting Report]

If you’re looking for sack potential at the back of the first, Yetur Gross-Matos is your guy. While he’s not quite as polished as Epenesa against the run, he’s got an amazing first step and the potential to be an annual double-digit sack kind of guy. He’s usually off the board at this point in the draft, so Seattle gets something of a steal with this pick.

This is a three-round mock, so Sports Illustrated also has the Browns going after defensive lineman Marlon Davidson, safety Jeremy Chinn and offensive lineman Damien Lewis with their second- and third-round selections. Davidson is something of a ‘tweener and will probably need to add a few pounds before he’s ready to start on the interior. Chinn and Lewis, meanwhile, will probably start their careers as backups, but both will have the opportunity to win starting jobs.

Will Brinson – CBS Sports

K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE

Another edge defender for Seattle, but this time it’s K’Lavon Chaisson out of LSU. Chaisson is one of the more explosive edge rushers in the class and would be a smart addition with or without Clowney coming back.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Seattle Seahawks Mock Draft Roundup: With the first wave of free agency in the books, what do the analysts expect from Seattle in the 2020 NFL Draft?

[32,54,1647
5273,5802,5269,6209,6265,61,6228,6264,6063,6169,40,6196,5573
post-83244","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-seahawks","category-editorials","category-nfl-draft","tag-2020-nfl-draft","tag-a-j-epenesa","tag-andrew-thomas","tag-austin-jackson","tag-damien-lewis","tag-football","tag-jedrick-wills","tag-jeremy-chinn","tag-marlon-davidson","tag-mekhi-becton","tag-nfl","tag-tristian-wirfs","tag-yetur-gross-matos
["GET
