Starting the year in Denver, the former third-round pick recorded 30 receptions for 367 yards and two touchdowns through seven games. While he and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SuttCo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Courtland Sutton<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>formed a formidable duo, the Broncos traded Sanders to the San Francisco 49ers at the NFL trade deadline.<\/p>\n<p>Sanders made an immediate impact for the San Francisco 49ers. Serving as the top receiver in the passing game, the longtime NFL veteran recorded 36 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns on 53 targets. He added an additional five receptions for 71 yards in the playoffs and almost caught what would have been the game-winning touchdown pass in Super Bowl LIV.<\/p>\n<p>Emmanuel Sanders initially entered the league as a third-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Sanders joined\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WallMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Wallace<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=BrowAn04,BrowAn01&amp;search=Antonio+Brown&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Antonio Brown<\/a><\/strong> to form what was one of the most dangerous wide receiver trios in the league. While this group couldn&#8217;t win a Super Bowl together, all three appeared in Super Bowl XLV against the Green Bay Packers.<\/p>\n<p>Sanders almost joined the New England Patriots in 2013 as a restricted free agent. However, Pittsburgh matched New England&#8217;s offer, and Sanders spent one last season with the Steelers. One year later, Sanders left as an unrestricted free agent to join the Denver Broncos.
