With the NFL Combine behind us, it\u2019s time to start looking forward to the 2020 NFL Draft. The Combine brings with it a wealth of new information, and analysts everywhere are producing mock drafts in an effort to predict what will happen in a few months\u2019 time. Howie Roseman<\/strong> and company have built a strong roster, but they can turn their team from good to great by hitting on their draft picks. Without futher ado, here is a Philadelphia Eagles mock draft roundup from all around the internet.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Eagles Mock Draft Roundup: Help for Carson Wentz<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Justin Jefferson [Scouting Report<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n

In case you missed the 2019 season, the Philadelphia Eagles need to get better at wide receiver. Carson Wentz<\/a><\/strong> had no reliable help last year, but Jefferson should provide a reliable target for years to come. The LSU product can line up all over the formation while running crisp routes and hauling in contested catches. He\u2019s everything the Eagles need after presumably moving on from Alshon Jeffery<\/a><\/strong> and Nelson Agholor<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

NFL Mock Draft: Post-Combine Edition \u2013 Last Word on Pro Football<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n

Tee Higgins [Scouting Report<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n

Carson Wentz throws one of the prettiest deep balls in football, and the Eagles give him someone that can actually catch them. Higgins is a physical freak with fantastic speed and size. The Clemson product can blow past defenses and has the size to outjump defensive backs in tight coverage situations. He\u2019s equally dangerous with the ball in his hands and should make Philadelphia\u2019s offense one of the most explosive in the league.<\/p>\n

Henry Ruggs [Scouting Report<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n

Having Henry Ruggs<\/strong> fall to the 21st<\/sup> overall pick feels like something of a pipe dream. The Alabama product is a consensus top-three wide receiver in the draft and possesses unparalleled straight-line speed. Pairing him with DeSean Jackson<\/a><\/strong> would just be unfair to opposing defenses, and Ruggs is no one-trick pony. If he\u2019s there at 21, the Eagles have to pull the trigger and take him.<\/p>\n

Miller produced a three-round mock draft and also had the Eagles taking cornerback Cameron Dantzler<\/strong> in the second round along with defensive lineman Leki Fotu<\/strong> and safety Antoine Brooks Jr<\/strong>. with their two third-round picks. Dantzler should compete to start right away while Fotu and Brooks should start their careers as reliable depth.<\/p>\n

Another optimistic take from NFL Draft analysts. As previously mentioned, getting Ruggs with the 21st<\/sup> overall pick would be highway robbery. However, there is a reason to believe it could be done. The 2020 NFL Draft is stacked with wide receiver talent, and receiver-needy teams could skip on receiver early and select one later in the draft. The Eagles should not do this if Ruggs is around, as nobody in the draft possesses his big-play potential.<\/p>\n

The Draft Network<\/a> \u2013 <\/strong>Trade up for Isaiah Simmons [Scouting Report<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n

The Eagles probably won\u2019t trade up for the second straight season, but if they do, Isaiah Simmons<\/strong> is a good target. Even though he\u2019s listed as a linebacker, Simmons is capable of playing safety, defensive line, and linebacker at a high level. This versatile chess piece would be a perfect fit for any defense, and the Eagles would be lucky to have him.<\/p>\n
