Without further ado, here is a Kansas City Chiefs mock draft roundup from all around the internet.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Kansas City Chiefs Mock Draft Roundup: Cornerbacks, Defensive Upgrades<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/story\/0ap3000001104933\/article\/daniel-jeremiah-2020-nfl-mock-draft-20-patriots-take-herbert\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Daniel Jeremiah 2020 NFL Mock Draft \u2013 NFL.com<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Ross Blacklock, Defensive Tackle<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This pick works on multiple levels. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=JoneCh02,JoneCh09,JoneCh06,JoneCh04,JoneCh01,JoneCh21&amp;search=Chris+Jones&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chris Jones<\/a><\/strong> is about to hit free agency, and the Chiefs need to invest in an heir if they cannot re-sign him to a long-term deal. Expecting <strong>Ross Blacklock<\/strong> to be as good as Jones is probably asking too much, but he has the skills to be an above-average starter. Even if the Chiefs re-sign Jones, pairing him with Blacklock could give Kansas City and ferocious interior duo. Opposing offenses will have to pass to keep up with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MahoPa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Mahomes<\/a><\/strong>, and this duo (along with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ClarFr01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Frank Clark<\/a> <\/strong>on the edge) could make life a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/2020\/03\/02\/nfl-mock-draft-post-combine-edition\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>NFL Mock Draft: Post-Combine Edition \u2013 Last Word on Pro Football<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><em>A.J. Terrell, Cornerback<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Kansas City Chiefs defense as a whole played better than the sum of their parts. You can\u2019t bank on that happening again, and the Chiefs should address the cornerback position early in the NFL Draft. Fortunately for Kansas City, there is a good amount of cornerback talent in the 2020 draft class. <strong>A.J. Terrell<\/strong> isn\u2019t the best cornerback in the class by any means, but he\u2019s sticky in coverage, is fundamentally sound, and should be able to start from Day 1. He\u2019s not the best tackler in the world, but that doesn\u2019t matter too much in today\u2019s pass-happy NFL.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/2878668-2020-nfl-mock-draft-matt-millers-post-combine-predictions#slide23\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Miller \u2013 Bleacher Report<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Jeff Gladney, Cornerback [<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/2020\/02\/19\/jeff-gladney-2020-nfl-draft-profile\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scouting Report<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Following in a similar vein, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MillMa21.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Miller<\/a> expects the Chiefs to improve their secondary. <strong>Jeff Gladney<\/strong> can occasionally be beat for a big play, but he\u2019s a physical, in-your-face type of cornerback capable of getting under the skin of opposing receivers. While he doesn\u2019t have the prototypical size to match his play style, his advanced technique should make him a solid NFL starter.<\/p>\n<p>Miller mocked a full three rounds of the NFL Draft, and has the Chiefs taking wide receiver <strong>Chase Claypool<\/strong> in the second round and running back <strong>Cam Akers<\/strong> in the third. While defense might be the larger issue, both picks do make sense considering <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatkSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sammy Watkins<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RobiDe01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Demarcus Robinson<\/a><\/strong> might not be back and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WillDa05.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Damien Williams<\/a><\/strong> has yet to be efficient for a full season.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/LongFormArticle\/CBS-Sports-NFL-Mock-Draft-2020-Major-changes-after-combine-144500219\/#144500219_9\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CBS Sports NFL Mock Draft<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Kristian Fulton, Cornerback<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Kansas City Chiefs should thank their lucky stars if <strong>Kristian Fulton<\/strong> is on the board at pick 32. <strong>Jeffrey Okudah<\/strong> is the unquestioned CB1 in this draft class, but Fulton has a case for CB2. The LSU product is a physical, press-man cornerback (notice a trend?) that has an eye for the football and the build to match up against just about anyone. While he still needs time to develop as a zone defender, his upside is unmatched by any of the other late-first round cornerbacks.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/thedraftnetwork.com\/articles\/mock-draft-nfl-marino-6.0\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Draft Network<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 <em>C.J.
