He started off in primarily a backup role, not making much of an impact. In that role, he had three straight 100-yard games as well as a hat trick in Week 15. He ultimately finished the season with 36 receptions for 645 yards and six touchdowns – all of those being career highs.

Perriman played high school football at Arabia Mountain High School in Lithonia, Georgia. He then played college football with Central Florida for three years, and made First-Team All-AAC in 2014. In 2015 he skipped his senior year and went straight to the NFL Draft. He was drafted in the first round 26th overall by the Baltimore Ravens, where he remained through 2017. Perriman missed his entire rookie season in 2015 due to injury. He played all 16 games in 2016, but ultimately ended up being underwhelming for the Ravens as a first-round pick. He was ultimately cut just before the 2018 season started.

Perriman was signed briefly by the Washington Redskins in September 2018, but cut again after only five days without playing a game. He was signed in October with the Cleveland Browns, and in ten games, he had 340 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged a career high 21.3 yards per catch that season.

Perriman thus far in his career has 95 receptions for 1,561 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’ll be looking to build off his breakout month in December 2019, and trying to finally perhaps live up to his former billing as a first round pick.

Main Photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Breshad Perriman is coming off a year with 645 yards and six touchdowns, all career highs.
