At first it was pretty poor as he started with the struggling Dolphins, where he only got 174 yards and zero touchdowns in six games. However, after he was traded to the Cardinals, his output shot up. He had 643 yards and eight touchdowns in eight games, as well as 171 receiving yards. This included a four-touchdown game against the Cleveland Browns and an 80-yard touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks.

Drake played football for Alabama, but was primarily a backup during this time. Despite that – due in part probably also due to being a decent kick returner – he was drafted in the third round by the Dolphins in 2016. He spent the next three and a half seasons there.

Again, he was primarily a change of pace back with the Dolphins, but still got a good number of snaps due to also being a threat as a receiving back. This was most prevalent in 2018. That year he had 1,012 yards from scrimmage with only 535 of those yards being rushing. Also, five of his nine touchdowns that year were receiving ones.

He was also notable for being the touchdown scorer on the famous Miracle in Miami against the New England Patriots, when he caught a lateral from DeVante Parker and took it the remaining 52 yards to the house, avoiding a tackle attempt from Rob Gronkowski for the crazy touchdown.

In four years, Drake has accumulated 2,175 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns. He also has 1,107 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He also has 757 return yards and one touchdown, which happened in his rookie year.

Main Photo:
Embed from Getty Images

In 2019, Kenyan Drake had 817 rushing yards and eight touchdowns–643 of them (as well as all the touchdowns) in eight games after he got traded to Arizona.

[36
279,61,3329,40
post-81252","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","tag-arizona-cardinals","tag-football","tag-kenyan-drake","tag-nfl
["GET
