Below is a roundup of the rest of the injuries that occurred in Week 14.<\/p>\n<h2>NFL Week 14 Injury Report<\/h2>\n<h3>Miami Dolphins &#8211; Quarterback Ryan Tannehill<\/h3>\n<p>An MRI on Monday revealed that Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill suffered a sprained ACL and MCL to his left knee. Not a tear, which was the fear at time due to the nature of the hit. Tannehill&#8217;s injury was the result of a low hit by Arizona Cardinals defensive end\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CampCa99.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Calais Campbell<\/a><\/strong>. Miami will now have to turn to backup quarterback\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MoorMa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Moore<\/a><\/strong> for the rest of the 2016 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Dolphins improved to 8-5 with the win on Sunday, and are in the thick of the\u00a0<strong>AFC\u00a0<\/strong> wild-card race. But with three divisional games left against the\u00a0<strong>New York Jets, Buffalo Bills\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>New England Patriots<\/strong>, it could be an uphill battle with Tannehill out for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<h3>Detroit Lions &#8211; Quarterback Matthew Stafford<\/h3>\n<p>Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford dislocated and tore ligaments to his middle finger on his throwing hand during the Lions 20-17 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The veteran quarterback doesn&#8217;t plan on missing anytime, however, as he plans on playing with a glove on his throwing hand. The Lions are 9-4 on the season and are currently the No. 2 seed in the\u00a0<strong>NFC<\/strong> playoff picture following the\u00a0<strong>Seattle Seahawks\u00a0<\/strong>loss to the\u00a0<strong>Green Bay Packers<\/strong> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<h3>Philadelphia Eagles &#8211; Running Backs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SproDa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Darren Sproles<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SmalWe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wendell Smallwood<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong> all-purpose back,\u00a0<strong>Darren Sproles<\/strong>, is in the NFL concussion protocol following Sunday&#8217;s loss to the\u00a0<strong>Washington Redskins<\/strong>. Sproles suffered the concussion when he was leveled by a Redskins defender while waiting to return a punt. Eagles head coach\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PedeDo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Doug Pederson<\/a><\/strong> also said that fellow running back,\u00a0<strong>Wendell Smallwood<\/strong>, will be out for the rest of the season with a sprained MCL to his right knee.<\/p>\n<h3>San Diego Chargers &#8211; Running Back <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GordMe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Melvin Gordon<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>San Diego Chargers<\/strong> running back\u00a0<strong>Melvin Gordon<\/strong>\u00a0was carted off the field after suffering a hip strain and a knee sprain in the first quarter of Sunday&#8217;s 28-16 loss to the<strong> Carolina Panthers<\/strong>. Chargers head coach,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=McCoMi21,McCoMi22&amp;search=Mike+McCoy&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike McCoy<\/a><\/strong>, told reporters in a press conference on Monday that Gordon is considered &#8220;day-to-day.&#8221; The Chargers will have a better understanding of Gordon&#8217;s availability once the results of his MRI come back.<\/p>\n<h3>New York Jets &#8211; Running Back <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/F\/FortMa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Forte<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>New York Jets<\/strong> running back,\u00a0<strong>Matt Forte<\/strong>, said he felt &#8220;cracking and popping&#8221; in his knee during the start of the Jets and\u00a0<strong>San Francisco 49ers<\/strong> game. Even if there&#8217;s nothing seriously wrong with Forte&#8217;s knee, the Jets might want to think about sitting the veteran running back for the reminder of the season. But\u00a0<strong>ESPN&#8217;s Rob Demovsky<\/strong> reports that he was held out for &#8220;precautionary reasons.&#8221; Demovsky also reports that &#8220;there&#8217;s a good chance&#8221; that Cook plays next week against the\u00a0<strong>Chicago Bears<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Washington Redskins &#8211; Linebackers Will Compton and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CravSu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Su&#8217;a Cravens<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Washington Redskins<\/strong> linebackers\u00a0<strong>Will Compton\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Su&#8217;a Cravens<\/strong> are considered week-to-week after both suffered injuries in the Redskins 27-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
