After spending four years with the New York Jets, Anderson is set to hit unrestricted free agency for the first time in his career. He should find plenty of suitors who would happy to hand out a mid-level contract to the former undrafted free agent.

NFL Free Agency: Robby Anderson Team Fits

Philadelphia Eagles

Everything that could go wrong with Philadelphia’s receivers in 2019, did go wrong. The unit suffered injury after injury, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside couldn’t contribute, and the unit started to show their age. Philadelphia needs to bring somebody in to make life easier for Carson Wentz, and Anderson would be a perfect fit for this scheme. Wentz throws one of the better deep balls in the league, and the Eagles might not be able to afford a guy like Amari Cooper. Anderson is good enough to succeed on his own, but the Eagles could create one of the most explosive passing attacks in the league with both Anderson and DeSean Jackson on the field.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers is still a good quarterback, but he’s starting to show signs of slowing down. This doesn’t mean he can’t produce top-five numbers anymore, just that he needs more help than he used to. Davante Adams is a stud, but Green Bay needs to find a reliable starter to complement Adams. Anderson’s ability to stretch a defense should be a good match with Rodgers’ rocket arm and could be the missing ingredient in getting Green Bay back to the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots

The last time New England had a speedy outside receiver capable of taking the top off a defense, Tom Brady won MVP honors. Whether or not Brady returns, New England should look into adding more depth to their wide receiver room. Julian Edelman is getting old and can’t go on forever, and the rest of the depth chart is either underwhelming or inexperienced. Nobody knows more about improving a career after leaving New York than Bill Belichick, and Anderson perfectly fills New England’s needs.

If Brady comes back, the six-time Super Bowl champion should be happy to see more speed in the offense. Even if Mohamed Sanu, N’Keal Harry, and Jakobi Meyers all improve in 2020, none have the potential to be vertical speed threats. If Jarrett Stidham or a veteran quarterback end up under center, then said quarterback would be happy to have more than one proven target in the passing game.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills have a chance to develop into legitimate Super Bowl contenders if they play their cards right. Coming off a 10-win season, Buffalo has nearly $83 million in available cap space to improve their roster. The Bills already have an underrated receiving duo in John Brown and Cole Beasley, but adding Anderson could take this unit over the top. Brown and Anderson can both destroy defenses deep while Beasley can provide safe outlets for Josh Allen. If Brady leaves New England, the Bills are prime position to take over as kings of the AFC East.

Honorable Mentions: Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Robby Anderson is set to hit free agency for the first time in his career and could be a perfect signing for a team needing a speedy deep threat.

[5,3,25,21
275,177,248,1039,61,44,666,521,4195,38,40,1608,46,221
post-80774","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-patriots","category-bills","category-packers","category-eagles","tag-aaron-rodgers","tag-buffalo-bills","tag-carson-wentz","tag-davante-adams","tag-football","tag-green-bay-packers","tag-julian-edelman","tag-mohamed-sanu","tag-nkeal-harry","tag-new-england-patriots","tag-nfl","tag-nfl-free-agency","tag-philadelphia-eagles","tag-robby-anderson
["GET
