The breakout wide receiver suffered a hamstring injury midway through Sunday’s contest and didn’t return to the field. If he’s done for the season, Perriman is going to shine as the top option in an explosive passing attack. Every year somebody comes out of nowhere to be a fantasy superhero, and this year, that somebody is Breshad Perrriman.

Note: If Chris Godwin can’t suit up, you can also make a claim for Justin Watson.

Sterling Shepard

Sterling Shepard had a long-overdue breakout game in Week 15. Based on target volume and depth, Shepard should have been one of the more productive wide receivers in the game. That usage finally caught up to him when he went off for nine receptions and 111 yards against the Miami Dolphins. He was Eli Manning’s favorite target throughout the game and should remain a key part of the offense even if Daniel Jones returns in Week 16.

Assuming Shepard sees the same usage he’s seen all year, he should continue to produce as a solid WR2 or upper-level flex play. Additionally, Shepard also has the fortune of going up against a bad Washington Redskins defense, which should only help Shepard’s production.

Anthony Miller

It took long enough for Matt Nagy to realize that Anthony Miller is a good wide receiver. After starting the season as an afterthought, Miller has developed into one of the most important parts of the Chicago passing attack. Last week, Miller recorded nine receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown on a staggering 15 targets.

This was no one-week fluke, as Miller has recorded nine or more targets in four of his last five games. Mitchell Trubisky trusts him, and the offense looks better when he’s a part of the game plan. Miller’s high target share should last throughout the season, and he should be able to find modest success against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Danny Amendola

Marvin Jones is done for the season, which means Danny Amendola is going to be a vital part of the Detroit Lions passing attack. Last week, the two-time Super Bowl champion recorded a team-high eight receptions for 102 yards on 13 targets. Kenny Golladay is going to remain the top option in the passing game, but Amendola is going to have some fantasy value moving forward. David Blough is no superstar, but he’s still good enough to make Amendola a reliable fantasy option in PPR leagues.

Bonus: Greg Ward

The Philadelphia Eagles need somebody to catch the ball, and it might as well be Greg Ward. Alshon Jeffery is done for the foreseeable future and Nelson Agholor might need another week of rest. Ward looked like a legit NFL-caliber receiver, hauling in seven receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown, including the game-winning score. If Agholor can’t go again, Ward should be a safe play against a Dallas Cowboys defense which struggles against wide receivers.

Week 16 Waiver Wire Claims: Running Back – Wide Receiver – Quarterback – Tight End – Defense

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy Football Week 16 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Claims: Breshad Perriman and Sterling Shepard should be good adds for the fantasy championshipo.

[59,54
3495,871,3465,4688,1499,5899,478,294,61,5943,116,1957,2265,40,515
post-78053","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-editorials","tag-anthony-miller","tag-breshad-perriman","tag-chris-godwin","tag-daniel-jones","tag-danny-amendola","tag-david-blough","tag-eli-manning","tag-fantasy-football","tag-football","tag-greg-ward","tag-jameis-winston","tag-kenny-golladay","tag-mitchell-trubisky","tag-nfl","tag-sterling-shepard
["GET
