This week, Cousins gets to face the 30th ranked passing defense of the Detroit Lions. Cousins roasted the Lions for 338 yards and four touchdowns back in Week 7. He’s in a good position to have a repeat performance this Sunday at 1:00 pm EST in Minnesota. The fact that Dalvin Cook is dealing with a shoulder injury, and the Lions are struggling to defend the pass, should give the Vikings coaching staff all the reason they need to cut Cousins and the passing game lose on Sunday.

Ryan Tannehill $5,800

Tannehill disappointed many daily fantasy players last week when he faced off with the Titans division rival Indianapolis Colts. However, late-season divisional games are typically played close to the vest, as both teams have a familiarity with each other. Luckily, Tannehill has a non-division matchup this week with the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders rank in the bottom half of the league in DraftKings points allowed to quarterbacks. Vegas sees the Titans as road favorites, with the line set at O/U 47 Titans -2.5. However, the Raiders should be able to keep the contest competitive, forcing the Titans to keep their foot on the gas pedal all game long. Therefore, Tannehill should put up a better stat line this Sunday in Oakland.

I need you all to wake up and know this before you go to work/school.

The @titans have the 2nd highest scoring offense in the @NFL since @ryantannehill1 took over in week 7.

Thank you.

— Kay Adams (@heykayadams) December 3, 2019

Running Backs

Derrick Henry $8,200

For a back that doesn’t catch many passes, $8,200 feels too steep. However, temperatures are plummeting, and the calendar has turned to December, officially marking Derrick Henry season. Henry already dominated the month of November, averaging over 30 DraftKings points per game. The Titans have the second highest-scoring offense in the league since Tannehill took over as quarterback in Week 7. Tannehill has made defenses pay when they load the box to stop the run, and Henry has made them pay when they lighten the box. With the offense now operating effectively, Henry should continue to have ample opportunity to grind out yards and touchdowns in the run game. Henry’s lack of involvement in the passing game and his high price make him risky for cash lineups. However, assuming most people will be turned off for those same reasons, Henry is a highly appealing GPP option.

Player not getting enough national attention: Derrick Henry.

In his last 3 games:

• 23 carries, 188 rushing yards, 2 TDs
• 19 carries, 159 rushing yards, 2 TDs
• 26 carries, 149 rushing yards, 1 TD#Titans won all 3 games. pic.twitter.com/xss6yhOwmW

— Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) December 2, 2019

Melvin Gordon $6,400

Gordon is averaging well over 20 touches per game over his past four games. This week, Gordon plays the Jacksonville Jaguars who rank 27th in DK points allowed to running backs. Gordon should be able to do some damage with 20 plus touches versus the Jaguars porous run defense. The Chargers are three-point road favorites over the Jags, also implying a run-friendly game script. Gordon gets volume and also gets involved in the passing game, making him a viable cash game option at $6,400 on Draft Kings.

Mark Ingram $5,900

Ingram stands out as a tremendous value this week with the Ravens taking on the Bills. The Bills defense is strongest in the secondary, which forces most opponents to lean more heavily on their running game. Buffalo ranks 20th in DraftKings points allowed to running backs this season. Furthermore, playing within the potent Ravens offense, Ingram is a threat to score multiple touchdowns in any game. If he scores multiple touchdowns while priced at only $5,900, the return on investment for DFS could be substantial.

Phillip Lindsay $5,300

Lindsay is averaging 18 touches per game over his last three. He has caught at least five passes in every game this season. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen a lot of games where he hit his ceiling this year. However, Hopkins regularly puts up enough stats on a consistent basis to be considered a reliable cash game play.

D.J. In three career games versus the Panthers, Ridley has amassed 15 receptions for 295 yards. He also scored a touchdown in all three games. One more interesting nugget: Atlanta is 3-0 in those contests.

Will Fuller $5,500

If you are looking for a high upside GPP play, look no further. However, it’s likely the Bills fall victim to the same fate most of the Ravens opponents have. The Ravens offense is so potent that it helps the defense by adding pressure on opposing offenses and forcing them to keep pace. The Colts defenders should have some opportunities to get their hands on some Winston passes. Winston tends to throw a few balls up for grabs every week.
