Gone are the days where you could just coast by on a strong draft. Now more than ever, you’ll need to search the waiver wire for all the best available quarterbacks. Heading into Week 11, you should set your eyes on Nick Foles, Sam Darnold, and Kyle Allen.

Note that in order to make this list, the player had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. Now that Minshew Mania is officially over, the former Super Bowl MVP is taking back the reigns of the Jacksonville Jaguars offense. At his best, Foles is a fantasy superstar capable of compiling big yardage and a couple touchdowns per game. However, at his worst, Foles struggles to find his targets and can turn the ball over two or three times per game. He really is the NFL’s version of Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde, and it’s hard to predict when he’ll be good and when he’ll be bad.

Historically speaking, there’s really no clear tell for which version of Foles you’ll get on a weekly basis. However, if you’re streaming the quarterback position, it’s always best to aim for upside. Quite frankly, nobody on the open market offers more upside than Foles, especially since he’s facing off against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts defense isn’t anything to write home about, so Foles should have a solid outing.

Sam Darnold

For the first time in a long time, New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold actually looked comfortable on a football field. The former third overall pick has had a strange 2019 season filled with disease and the paranormal, but he should be back on the right track heading forward. Darnold finished Week 10 with 230 passing yards and one touchdown to go along with 25 rushing yards and an additional score.

Streaming Sam Darnold ultimately comes down to believing in the talent and playing the matchup. The Jets face off against an atrocious Washington Redskins team, so Darnold and company should have no problem moving the ball up and down the field. The talent is still there for Darnold, and he should be a solid stream, even if he doesn’t have the highest upside.

Kyle Allen

Cam Newton is on the injured reserve, which means this is officially Kyle Allen’s show for the rest of the season. The former undrafted free agent isn’t a superstar by any means, but he’s capable of exploiting the right matchup. Last week, Allen threw for 307 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Green Bay Packers, and came inches away from an additional two scores. The Packers defense isn’t a great unit by any means, but they’re considerably better than Allen’s Week 11 opponent, the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons somehow managed to hold Drew Brees and company to just nine points in Week 10, but that’s probably a one-week fluke. The vast majority of the available data points to this being one of the absolute worst defenses in the NFL. Allen and company should be able to shred the defense through the air, and Matt Ryan’s arm should ensure this game becomes a high-scoring affair. Allen should be a fringe QB1, which is all you can ask out of a streaming candidate.

Week 11 Waiver Wire Claims – Running Back – Wide Receiver – Tight End – Defense

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy Football Week 11 Quarterback Waiver Wire Claims: Nick Foles and Sam Darnold are set up for fantasy football success in the coming weeks.

[59,54
367,371,294,61,4799,40,997,1535
post-75984","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-editorials","tag-cam-newton","tag-drew-brees","tag-fantasy-football","tag-football","tag-kyle-allen","tag-nfl","tag-nick-foles","tag-sam-darnold
["GET
