Westbrook had a decent amount of offseason hype, but his hype train went off the rails when Nick Foles suffered his collarbone injury. Foles has an established history of targeting slot receivers and targeted Westbrook at a ridiculous rate in the preseason. Gardner Minshew didn’t share the same affinity for slot targets, so Westbrook faded into fantasy irrelevance.

Nick Foles is back under center, which means Westbrook is back to being an interesting fantasy weapon. As someone who was completely in on the Dede Westbrook hype train, you need to grab him if he’s available in your league. Westbrook has played well this year, and his target share should dramatically increase with Foles running the offense. Dede Westbrook is an easy Week 11 stream and could easily be a week-in, week-out starter for the rest of the season.

Demaryius Thomas

Turns out Demaryius Thomas is still good at football. After an early-season trade, Thomas finally seems comfortable in the Jets offense and has a safe, dependable target share. In Week 10, Thomas recorded six receptions for 84 yards on nine targets, leading the team in all three categories. While he didn’t make his way into the endzone, the fact Sam Darnold continued to look his way suggests his success is sustainable.

Thomas and the Jets face off against an objectively terrible Washington Redskins team in Week 11. The Redskins can’t stop anything through the ground or through the air, so Thomas should have a field day against the overmatched secondary. If you need somebody to throw in your flex spot, you could do a lot worse than Demaryius Thomas.

Darius Slayton

The New York Giants have a Week 11 bye week, so don’t grab Darius Slayton if you’re looking for a one-week stream. That said, Slayton has steadily improved throughout the season and might be the top option in the New York Giants passing attack. In Week 10, the rookie recorded 10 receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns on 14 targets. While this was easily the best game of his career, this wasn’t the first time he’s had some fantasy relevance. The rookie has recorded at least four targets in six of his last eight games and is getting better on a weekly basis.

Sterling Shepard isn’t coming back any time soon, and Daniel Jones clearly trusts Slayton, especially in the red zone. Slayton already has five touchdown receptions and has exceeded 84% of the snaps in each of the past five games. He’ll remain fantasy-relevant for the rest of the season and is easily worth carrying through the bye week.

Deep Leagues: Andy Isabella

The consistency isn’t there for Isabella, but he’s slowly improving his snap percentage as he gains the trust of the coaching staff. He should see his role grow in time, and his speed gives him a chance to make a big play every time he touches the ball. Stash him if you have an extra bench spot or two.

Week 11 Waiver Wire Claims – Running Back – Quarterback – Tight End – Defense

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy Football Week 11 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Claims: Dede Westbrook and Demaryius Thomas should be good fantasy football plays moving forward.

[59,54
4689,4688,5041,1690,2658,294,61,4810,40,997,1535,515
post-75981","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","category-editorials","tag-andy-isabella","tag-daniel-jones","tag-darius-slayton","tag-dede-westbrook","tag-demaryius-thomas","tag-fantasy-football","tag-football","tag-gardner-minshew","tag-nfl","tag-nick-foles","tag-sam-darnold","tag-sterling-shepard
["GET
