Five weeks of NFL play are officially in the books, which means bye weeks are in full swing. Gone are the days where you could just coast by on a strong draft. Now more than ever, you\u2019ll need to search the waiver wire for all the best available quarterbacks. Heading into Week 6, you should set your eyes on\u00a0Gardner Minshew<\/a>, Teddy Bridgewater<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kyle Allen<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Note that in order to make this list, the player had to be available in over 50% of fantasy leagues. If you\u2019re in smaller leagues, there may be better players available. Make sure to check your waivers to see if there are any diamonds in the rough before submitting your claims.<\/p>\n

Gardner Minshew, Teddy Bridgewater Highlight Fantasy Football Week 6 Quarterback Waiver Wire Streams<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Gardner Minshew<\/h3>\n

Gardner Minshew is quickly transforming from internet hero<\/a> to genuine stud quarterback. While he\u2019s no Patrick Mahomes<\/a><\/strong>, Minshew has improved on a weekly basis and looks like he genuinely belongs as an NFL passer. Last week, Minshew threw for 374 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions against a solid Carolina Panthers defense. He should only get better with experience, and he has a completely healthy supporting cast heading into Week 6.<\/p>\n

Minshew and the Jaguars face off against a talented New Orleans Saints<\/a> defense in Week 6. After struggling out of the gate, the unit held Jameis Winston<\/a><\/strong> and Dak Prescott<\/a><\/strong> to underwhelming performances. That said, Minshew should still put up a decent enough outing. He might not be a top-five passer, but he should be a low-end QB1. As far as streaming is concerned, you could do a lot worse.<\/p>\n

Teddy Bridgewater<\/h3>\n

New Orleans Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater finally started airing out the ball in Week 5, and he easily had the best game of the season. Facing off against an admittedly weak Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass defense, Bridgewater finished the night with 314 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. While he\u2019s probably not going to do that again, he appears to be returning to his 2015 form. Bridgewater has starting experience and can be a fantasy streamer in the right matchup.<\/p>\n

Bridgewater faces off against an underwhelming Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 6. The unit is normally one of the best in the league, but they\u2019re not nearly as dangerous with Jalen Ramsey<\/a><\/strong> out of the lineup. It\u2019s hard to imagine Ramsey playing for Jacksonville any time soon, so Bridgewater should find some success moving the ball through the air.<\/p>\n

Kyle Allen<\/h3>\n

Carolina Panthers starting quarterback Kyle Allen isn\u2019t the type of player you can start on a weekly basis. While the Panthers are 3-0 in his starts, he doesn\u2019t always light up the stat sheet. Last week, Allen threw for just 181 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. However, despite his lackluster performance, he\u2019s proven capable of going off against the right matchup.<\/p>\n

In Week 6, the Panthers face off against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team which needs a lot of help in the secondary. The run defense is strong, but they struggle to cover in the back end. Allen should have his fair share of open throws and should give you solid performance for a one-week stream.<\/p>\n
