In Week two, nine of 16 games were decided by six points or less with five of the nine being decided by a field goal or less. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Of course, it makes for more difficult picks and predictions. But one thing is certain, prognosticating each week is fun. Below are NFL Week three spreads and predictions.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: xx-large;\">NFL Week Three Spreads and Predictions<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills<\/h3>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Bengal<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>s<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/bengals\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> made the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/49ers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">San Francisco 49ers<\/a> look better than they they really are and that should continue when the Bengals take on the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/bills\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buffalo Bills<\/a> this weekend. Their initial injury report reveals several players are, at best, bruised and battered. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GreeA.00.htm\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>A.J. Green<\/strong><\/a>, both tight ends and three offensive linemen are among those who are banged up and that can&#8217;t be good for those counting on them to cover the spread.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Bill<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>s <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The problem for the Bills is they are hurting too. Rookie running back <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SingDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Devin Singletary<\/a><\/strong> (127 yards, one touchdown last week) is currently listed as day-to-day after tweaking a hamstring. But the defense appears to be healthier and has been playing good football.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>The Last Word<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Several players on both teams have at least rested this week in practice. Too soon too tell exactly who will miss any action this week. As of now, it appears Buffalo is in the best shape to get the victory.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Spread: Bills -6 \/ Predicted Final: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Bills 21<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>, <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Bengal<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>s <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>13\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Miami Dolphins at Dallas Cowboys<\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Dolphins<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is sad times for the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/dolphins\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miami Dolphins<\/a> and their fans right now. This team ranks last in both offense and defense. People are calling it a &#8216;tank&#8217; job but the truth is that it doesn&#8217;t matter. They weren&#8217;t going to win much this season regardless and it will probably never make sense to bet on the Dolphins this season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Cowboys<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Here&#8217;s a supposedly second-tier team running with the big boys right now. Right now they are in the same class as the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/ravens\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baltimore Ravens<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/chiefs\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/patriots\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New England Patriots<\/a> offensively. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PresDa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dak Prescott<\/a><\/strong> may be seeing the field like never before. Receiver <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GallMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Gallup<\/a><\/strong> is hurt and their injury report reads roughly twice as long as their Week three opponent. But Dallas is still fielding a better team than Miami.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>The Last Word<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The Cowboys, playing their best football in years, will probably rest key players late in the game. But that doesn&#8217;t mean they&#8217;re not a bit worn. Fortunately for them, their opponent isn&#8217;t quite the sack-happy squad of a week ago. They shouldn&#8217;t be overwhelmed, even with starting right tackle <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JameJa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ja&#8217;Wuan James<\/a><\/strong> (knee) weeks away from his return. They do have starting cornerback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CallBr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bryce Callahan<\/a><\/strong> set to make his 2019 debut.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Packers<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RodgAa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aaron Rodgers<\/a><\/strong> announcing, &#8220;we have a defense now,&#8221; after their Week one game may have been misleading. Their defensive unit is playing well, but isn&#8217;t necessarily top-shelf. Now, at least five defensive starters are either held out or limited this week in practice. Meanwhile, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GrahJi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jimmy Graham<\/a><\/strong> deals with a groin issue on an offense rated 29th.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>The Last Word<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Despite playing at home the Packers look ripe for their first loss of the season. This week will be a really good gauge as to what they might be capable of and the game might live up to the growing hype. Don&#8217;t count on the Chiefs to get much ground game going as the Ravens are the league leaders against it. The Ravens best chance offensively is to encourage an all-out shootout allowing <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JackLa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lamar Jackson<\/a><\/strong> running room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Chiefs<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">No one should be trying to place limitations on the game of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MahoPa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Mahomes<\/a><\/strong>. The Chiefs still don&#8217;t have <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HillTy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyreek Hill <\/a><\/strong>on the field, but Mahomes is basically to his team what <strong>Magic Johnson<\/strong> was to the Los Angeles Lakers back in the day. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">This Sunday could be a breakout day for running back <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/ThomDa06.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Darwin Thompson<\/a><\/strong>. Thompson, at only 5&#8217;8&#8243;, seems to want to be taken seriously and hits the weight room daily. If he gets on the field with receivers <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RobiDe01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Demarcus Robinson<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatkSa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sammy Watkins<\/a><\/strong> it&#8217;ll be &#8220;pick your poison&#8221; for the Ravens defense.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>The Last Word<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The game is being advertised as a battle between two extremely mobile quarterbacks, Mahomes and Jackson. It&#8217;s much more than that when considering the Ravens top-rated run defense. Of course, the Chiefs not having to run because of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WillDa05.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Damien Williams<\/a><\/strong> being ruled out works for them. Don&#8217;t expect Bridgewater&#8217;s stats to set the world on fire in Week three. His success in Week three depends on the coaching staff. Specifically, how much faith they put in him and what the game plan looks like. Rudolph can think creatively on the fly and also throw over the top and the coaching staff needs to let him.
