As of this posting, the exact terms and length of the contract are not available to the public. Making seven starts, the inside linebacker recorded 37 tackles, two quarterback hits, two tackles for loss, and one sack. His best game of the year came in Week Two against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/giants\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Giants<\/a> when he recorded four tackles, one quarterback hit, and one sack.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson initially entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Selected by the Dallas Cowboys, Wilson spent the entirety of the season serving as a depth linebacker. Appearing in all 16 games without recording a start, Wilson finished his rookie season with seven tackles and two tackles-for-loss while contributing heavily on special teams.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson\u2019s role expanded in 2016, as the second-year inside linebacker earned six starts while appearing in all 16 games. During his second season in the league, Wilson recorded 30 tackles, two quarterback hits, four tackles-for-loss, and half a sack. Additionally, the Minnesota product also defended one pass.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson continued to play a bigger role in 2017, as the third-year linebacker recorded a career-high nine starts. Once again playing in all 16 games, Wilson recorded 29 tackles, four quarterback hits, one sack, and one pass defended.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson has appeared in 64 games throughout his four-year NFL career, making 22 starts.
