In 2009, the Miami Dolphins signed Wake from the CFL.

The 37-year-old had a tremendous career with the Dolphins appearing in five Pro Bowls. He was also a one-time first-team All-Pro and three-time second-team All-Pro. Wake has a career 360 tackles and 98 sacks, needing only two more to be a part of the 100-sack club.

Wake’s departure from the Dolphins ends a tremendous personal era, but a lowly team era. Wake appeared in only one playoff game in his 10-year Dolphin career. The departure will be tough for fans to swallow as he is number two all-time in Dolphins history for sacks, trailing only Hall of Famer Jason Taylor.

Wake suffered a torn Achilles tendon in 2015 but never missed a beat. He followed up with 11.5 and 10.5 sacks the two following seasons. Even with reduced snap counts, Wake produces at a high level and will provide an immediate impact for the Titans pash rush.

The move allows Wake to give it one last chance in receiving that elusive Super Bowl.

Wake attended Penn State and was a proficient player who recorded 191 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 24 tackles for loss. He split time between linebacker and defensive end.

In the CFL, Wake was a two-time CFL Most Outstanding Defensive player and two-time CFL All-Star. Wake was also voted to be a part of the CFL All-Decade team for the 2000s.

Embed from Getty Images

After spending 10 years with the Miami Dolphins, defensive end Cameron Wake has agreed to a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans.

[36,11
1266,61,89
post-61078","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","category-titans","tag-cameron-wake","tag-football","tag-miami-dolphins
["GET
