Once a year some of the top seniors in the nation gather in the small town of Mobile, Alabama for the Reese’s Senior Bowl. Players going look to drastically increase their stock and move up team boards. Recently, players like Aaron Donald and Carson Wentz significantly increased their draft stock after strong performances. This year’s class holds a lot of talent across boards but who has the chance to make the most money through the week’s practices and game?

2019 Senior Bowl Preview

Nasir Adderley, S, Delaware

Nassir Adderly is a prospect you should get familiar with if your teams in need of help on the back end. Being in the FCS, Adderley isn’t the typical high-profile safety you hear of often. But don’t get fooled, he certainly plays like one.

Adderley looks the part, being a high-end athlete with good range to make plays over top. He is extremely versatile, playing single-high, in the box, and at times in the slot while at Delaware. He also is extremely physical as a tackler and can provide some help on special teams.

With this draft class lacking many top end talent at the safety position, look for Adderley to be a huge riser. He could shock many and end up as a first-round draft pick, especially with a good week at the senior bowl.

Charles Omenihu, DL, Texas

After being a four-year starter for the team Omenihu doesn’t get the draft hype others among the group have. That should change early next week when he takes the field. The 2018 defensive linemen of the year had a huge breakout season for the Texas Longhorns, accumulating 9.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss.

Omenihu should play some on the interior and outside throughout the week. Though his primary position should be EDGE, his versatility could be key for teams.

His crazy length and great get off will be on full display for NFL teams and scouts to see. He has all the tools wanted to warrant a high pick as he looks to boost his stock through the week.

Christian Miller, OLB, Alabama

Being stuck in a deep rotation at Alabama, combined with a few injuries through his career has led to limited production on Miller’s part. After starting his first full season this past year, the production started to roll in, accompanied by the raw traits.

Millers shows a good array of pass rush moves while combining it with good mental processing. He’s extremely physical and has a non-stop motor to track down ball carriers.

Of course, he has his limitations as well. With average, at best, get off and bend he will struggle to consistently seal the edge as a pass rusher. He also has some work to do with his counter moves.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

2019 Senior Bowl Preview.
