What more could we want?

Another win. That’s what we want.

Despite the highs and the lows, despite the injuries piling on, as they typically do, we’re driven to win one more week. Thus far, this has been a season of record-setting scoring from multiple facets and some really intense games. It’s a great season to play fantasy football. And it’s a great season to watch some football.

Let’s jump right into the week six picks that can help us achieve another notch in the win column.

Public service announcement, the teams on bye this week are the New Orleans Saints and the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Football Week Six: Starts and Sits Featuring Jameis Winston

Starts at Quarterback

Jameis Winston vs. Atlanta Falcons

This one might seem like a hot-take considering Jameis Winston has played all of two quarters, in one game thus far, but stick with me here.

Winston is coming off a three-game suspension immediately followed by a bye week. However, he promptly earned the starting job after Ryan “Fitzmagic” saw the magic run dry against a stout Chicago Bears defense. He was working out in practice style drills during his suspension and has now had a week of practice with the starters under his belt. He looked tremendous during the preseason.

Coming in rested and ready-to-play against a Falcons defense that has been swiss-cheese for quarterbacks and pass-catchers is a great way to pick up where he left off. The Falcons are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to the quarterback position and Winston has a strong core of receivers to exploit them.

For any fantasy owners that are looking for a streaming option, cast Blake Bortles aside and roll with Winston this week. Winston is a must-start in a plus matchup in two-quarterback or Superflex leagues.

Andy Dalton vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Andy Dalton has been one of the more pleasantly surprising fantasy assets this season. He’s currently on pace to set personal bests in both passing yards and touchdowns. The Red Rifle has a healthy company of capable pass-catchers at his disposal. A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon have all done very well fantasy wise, and that trend should continue this week.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are allowing the third-most points to quarterbacks thus far, and have surrendered three 300-plus yardage games to quarterbacks through the first five weeks. Dalton has two 300-plus yard games and thrown for multiple touchdowns in all but one game this season.

With Mixon back, a healthy Green and Boyd, Dalton is a great start this week in most formats and could be a great start for a great price in DFS games. Fire up the Red Rifle.

Sits at Quarterback

Derek Carr vs Seattle Seahawks

The Legion of Boom is dust. However, the Seahawks defense has done well against opposing quarterbacks. They’ve amassed nine interceptions through five weeks but have allowed at least one touchdown to opposing quarterbacks per contest. Derek Carr already has eight interceptions through the first five weeks.

Carr has been the streaky, one-week-he’s-good-one-week-he’s-awful quarterback we’ve all come to expect. He’s absurdly afraid to target his best-receiving option, Amari Cooper, in any type of coverage. After throwing a horrible pick in the end zone last week, his leash should be shortened to bye-week filler or two-quarterback leagues outside of plus matchups, which this one isn’t.

Starts – Wide Receivers

Robert Woods vs. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have only allowed two 100-yard receivers this season. However, the trend has become a run-first offense with limited passing. Surprisingly, the rushing hasn’t come from Russell Wilson either. With the return of Doug Baldwin and the emergence of the running back committee, Lockett’s involvement takes the biggest hit. He becomes the boom or bust option that he has been known as for the majority of his career.

Starts: Running Backs

Sony Michel vs. Kansas City Chiefs

After starting the season battling an injury, Sony Michel has emerged in the last two weeks. With the absence of Rex Burkhead, Michel has become the lead back in an always dangerous offense. James White has the passing down role on lock-down and both have been viable on the goal line. Michel has had a touchdown in each of the last two games.

The Chiefs defense is surrendering the second-most fantasy points to running backs and allowed four rushing touchdowns in the last five weeks. Expect Michel to be a locked-in RB2 with touchdown upside almost every week moving forward. He’s a start in all formats this week.

Isaiah Crowell vs. Indianapolis Colts

Isaiah Crowell has been a polarizing figure in fantasy football this season, after being a hype-train-disappointment last season. This season, he’s had games where he’s simply gone off and put up big numbers typically followed by games that are duds. Last week he hit the turbo button for 215 rushing yards and two scores. If we base our decision from this season’s performances, this would mean this week is a Crowell sit week.

However, facing the Indianapolis Colts defense that allows the 11th most fantasy points to the position is a great way to string together solid fantasy outings. Crowell enters this week as a solid RB2 play.

Sits: Running Back

Kenyan Drake vs. Chicago Bears

This one may also seem strange and will probably contradict what a lot of casual fantasy players will be tempted to do. It’s easy to chase last week’s points and throw Kenyan Drake back into starting lineups after easily his best game of the season. However, Drake has been extremely disappointing for fantasy. This is not a knock on Drake, who’s easily one of the best playmakers on the roster. This is a direct result of absurd usage, or more accurately, lack thereof. Until the coaching staff starts trotting Drake out there as a lead back, he’s better left on benches.

Not to mention this is a brutal matchup against an intimidating Chicago Bears defense. It’s easy to be tempted to thrust a struggling player back into lineups after a great week, but don’t be fooled. Drake is risky, as even a flex play this week.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Sony Michel belongs in your lineup, but who else should you start and sit heading into the sixth week of fantasy football?

[59
854,231,294,1212,635,3329,40,764,3645,120
post-51084","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fantasy","tag-andy-dalton","tag-derek-carr","tag-fantasy-football","tag-isaiah-crowell","tag-jarvis-landry","tag-kenyan-drake","tag-nfl","tag-robert-woods","tag-sony-michel","tag-tyler-lockett
["GET
