The fantasy football landscape has drastically changed just after just two short weeks. Several players like Phillip Lindsay entered the season with limited expectations yet have already earned starting spots. Top Week Three Wide Receiver Waiver Targets<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n Top Week Three Quarterback Waiver Targets<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Top Week Three Fantasy Defenses<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n A Denver Broncos<\/a> rookie running back has taken the league by storm, just not the one everyone expected. Undrafted rookie Phillip Lindsay<\/a><\/strong> is one of the biggest surprises of the 2018 season and is a must-own on your fantasy team. Through two weeks, Lindsay has recorded 178 rushing yards, 35 receiving yards, and one touchdown. He\u2019s the first undrafted rookie to record 100 or more yards in each of his first two games.<\/p>\n Lindsay is still splitting carries with Royce Freeman<\/a><\/strong>, and Freeman is seeing the majority of the goal line carries. While this does limit Lindsay\u2019s ceiling, that\u2019s still no reason to shy away from the promising rookie. As long as he can produce like this, he\u2019ll keep seeing more and more time in the offense.<\/p>\n Once again, San Francisco 49ers<\/a> running back Matt Breida<\/a> <\/strong>makes this list. After performing adequately in a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings<\/a>, Breida established himself as the lead back against the Detroit Lions. Breida finished his night with 138 rushing yards and a touchdown while adding another 21 yards in the passing game. Moving forward, he is the clear lead back over Alfred Morris<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Breida and the 49ers face off against the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> in Week Three. Kansas City has one of the worst defenses in all of football, so Bredia should be able to collect a lot of yardage. Even if that game turns into a shootout, Breida should still see a good amount of snaps. He\u2019s the best receiving back the 49ers have, so he\u2019ll remain on the field regardless of the score.<\/p>\n With Joe Mixon<\/a> <\/strong>sidelined, Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> running back Giovani Bernard<\/a><\/strong> is set to take over as the teams starting running back.
