Thanks to an abundance of injuries, many fantasy players are looking for a new starting receiver or tight end. Even if nobody on your team suffered any significant injury, you should always be looking to improve your team. After one week of action, Phillip Dorsett and Brandon Marshall are just two players you should be targeting on the waiver wire.

Best Running Back Claims

Best Quarterback Claims

Fantasy Football: Phillip Dorsett, Brandon Marshall Lead Wide Receiver Week Two Claims

Phillip Dorsett

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady can make anybody a good fantasy option. With the wide receiver position decimated by injury and suspension, second-year Patriot Phillip Dorsett has turned into one of Brady’s more reliable weapons.

Dorsett finished Week One with seven receptions for 66 yards and his first touchdown as a Patriot. Meanwhile, fellow receivers Chris Hogan and Cordarrelle Patterson combined for just two receptions for 17 yards. New England will still rely primarily on tight end Rob Gronkowski, but Dorsett should be the top option at receiver.

Brandon Marshall

After a disappointing 2017 plagued by injuries, wide receiver Brandon Marshall looks to be back on the right track in 2018. In his debut with the Seattle Seahawks, Marshall recorded three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown against a tough Denver Broncos defense.

With Doug Baldwin sidelined by injury, someone will have to step up in the Seattle offense. Right now, Marshall looks to be that guy. He has a long track record of success, and was a solid wide receiver as recently as 2016. He could be a sneaky-good add for the entire 2018 season.

Eric Ebron

Despite the presence of tight end Jack Doyle, it looks like veteran tight end Eric Ebron will have a home in the Colts offense. Ebron finished his Colts debut with four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown. Ebron has a history of being a solid receiving tight end, even if those results weren’t there in 2017.

As long as Andrew Luck stays healthy, this team should have enough targets to go around. Ebron is owned in just 38% of NFL.com fantasy leagues, and he could form a solid one-two punch with Doyle. Snag him up if you need a tight end.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

Fantasy Football: In need of a wide receiver for your fantasy team.
