The Browns reportedly are trading wide receiver Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills for a draft pick. As of this posting, the exact pick in question has not been released. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first broke the news.

Cleveland is trading former first-round pick WR Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills for a draft pick, per source.

Coleman was the player the Browns selected after trading the No. 2 overall pick to Philadelphia so the Eagles could draft Carson Wentz.

— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 6, 2018

Corey Coleman Traded to Buffalo Bills

Coleman was initially selected with the 15th overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. Interestingly enough, the Browns didn’t originally own the pick with which they selected Coleman. At the start of the 2016 Draft, Cleveland owned the second overall pick. However, they traded said pick away to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles used said pick to select franchise quarterback Carson Wentz.

Coleman has disappointed during his two seasons in the league. Constantly battling injuries, Coleman has played in just 18 of a possible 32 games since entering the league. In those 18 games, Coleman recorded 56 receptions on 131 targets for 718 yards and five receptions. His best season came as a rookie when he recorded 33 receptions for 413 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games.

The Cleveland Browns have a new front office manager in John Dorsey. Dorsey, formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs organization, is in his first year with the job and had no part in drafting Coleman. However, head coach Hue Jackson was the coach when Coleman first joined the Browns.

Interestingly enough, this is not the first trade between the Browns and the Bills this off-season. Prior to the NFL Draft, the Bills traded quarterback Tyrod Taylor to the Bills for a third-round selection. Taylor is expected to start at the beginning of 2018 before giving way to first overall selection Baker Mayfield. The Bills traded away the 65th overall selection to move up and select quarterback Josh Allen.

Coleman will join a relatively empty Buffalo Bills wide receiver core. The third-year wide receiver will compete with Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, among others, for one of the final roster spots.

Main photo:
Embed from Getty Images

The Cleveland Browns continue to make trades, this time sending wide receiver Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills for an undisclosed draft pick.

[8,3,2,36
177,264,640,61,40
post-46880","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-browns","category-bills","category-featured","category-nfl-news","tag-buffalo-bills","tag-cleveland-browns","tag-corey-coleman","tag-football","tag-nfl
["GET
