The Carolina Panthers<\/a> players and coaches had a day off from practice on Tuesday, but the PR team sure didn’t. Here are some developments that Carolina fans may find exciting.<\/p>\n

Panthers Hint at Midfield Makeover<\/h2>\n

The Panthers twitter team definitely didn’t see Tuesday as an off day. They posted a cryptic tweet hinting at the possibility of a major change at Bank of America Stadium this year.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0recent piece<\/a>\u00a0broke down potential changes that new owner David Tepper<\/strong> could make in the near future and the Panthers midfield logo has been a hot topic for fans all summer. This would be a welcome and exciting change to a franchise that is trying to quickly put its past behind it.<\/p>\n

Jersey Schedule Released<\/h2>\n

But the Panthers weren’t done making groundbreaking announcements on Twitter. The ever-coveted jersey schedule was released on Tuesday as well. For those who are unaware, a jersey schedule lists what uniforms the team will be wearing game-by-game during a season. Below is the Panthers jersey schedule for 2018.<\/p>\n

Carolina will open the season wearing their white jerseys for the first six weeks. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as the team has exhibited an affinity for lighter uniforms during the warmer months of the season.<\/p>\n

Carolina won’t be wearing their home black jerseys until a Week 9 home matchup against the divisional rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers.<\/a>\u00a0The Panthers didn’t lose in 2017 when they wore those jerseys.<\/p>\n

Blue alternate jerseys will only be worn once during the regular season this year, in a Week 8 bout with the Baltimore Ravens<\/a>. These are not, however, expected to be accompanied by the color rush blue pants that have been worn over the past few seasons.<\/p>\n

Speaking of pants, the Panthers have black ones.\u00a0Jerry Richardson<\/strong> didn’t like them,\u00a0but he’s gone now. Pants are not included in the jersey schedule and can be decided on a game-to-game basis. It’s time for the Panthers to bring back this classic look:<\/p>\n

That look is just mean. The Panthers should wear them at least once a year. So what if they haven’t ever won a regular season game while wearing them? It’s a new era in Charlotte and the Panthers need to make it happen.<\/p>\n
