Things are not looking good for former NFL tight end\u00a0Kellen Winslow<\/a>\u00a0II<\/strong>.\u00a0On June 7th, he was arrested in connection with a burglary in San Diego, California. He posted bail, and his representatives vehemently denied<\/a> that he did anything wrong. Today, however, things took a turn for the worst, and Winslow Jr. was arrested again<\/a> on a separate issue. This time, he carries charges of kidnapping, rape, and sodomy, in addition to the burglary charges.<\/p>\n

Kellen Winslow II Taken Into Custody From Encinitas Home<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Winslow Jr. first made news after a resident in an Encinitas mobile home area called the police after confronting him because they did not recognize him as a resident of the area. He claimed he was looking for his lost red dog named Clifford. Later, he changed his story, instead saying he was looking for a home for his mother-in-law.<\/p>\n

Now things are looking even worse for him, as these new charges are a lot heavier than burglary. San Diego County Sheriff\u2019s Department Lt. Michael Blevins admitted that there were multiple victims associated with the new charges but noted that the allegations did not happen in the mobile home park where he was originally arrested.<\/p>\n

Winslow Jr. is the son of famous San Diego Chargers<\/a> tight end Kellen Winslow<\/strong>. The former is a Hall of Famer and five-time Pro Bowler. If not for Antonio Gates<\/a><\/strong>, he would be the unquestioned greatest tight end in Chargers history.<\/p>\n

Winslow Jr. saw a decently successful career early on. He was a first-round pick by the Cleveland Browns<\/a> and made the Pro Bowl with them in 2007. He played for a few other teams later in his career, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a>. After sitting out of the league for two years, he attempted a comeback with the New York Jets<\/a> in 2014 that did not work out.<\/p>\n

If these allegations turn out to be true and he’s convicted of these crimes, Winslow II will not see the light of day for a long time.<\/p>\n
