The Texans were behind the whole game, but were able to tie it up in the last five minutes of regulation. They kept this momentum going in overtime, and it carried them to victory. Winning a divisional game is always a good thing, but sometimes there&#8217;s a price to pay. During the game, the Texans secondary which was already without starter <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JackKa99.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kareem Jackson<\/a><\/strong>, lost two more key players.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Houston Texans Secondary Decimated by Injuries<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Houston Texans, and their fans were able to enjoy an amazing comeback victory for one night before awful news came out. During last nights game, the Texans lost corner-back <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=JohnKe01,JohnKe28,JohnKe04&amp;search=Kevin+Johnson&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevin Johnson<\/a><\/strong> to a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AaronWilson_NFL\/status\/788039514899963904\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">broken foot<\/a>, and rookie safety <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DillK.00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">K.J. Dillon<\/a><\/strong> to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/sports\/texans\/article\/Texans-rookie-K-J-Dillon-tore-his-ACL-9975824.php\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">torn ACL<\/a>. Johnson broke the foot he had surgery on this past off-season. The loss of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=JohnKe01,JohnKe28,JohnKe04&amp;search=Kevin+Johnson&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevin Johnson<\/a> is devastating to the Texans secondary. The Texans are already without starting corner-back <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JackKa99.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kareem Jackson<\/a>, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoseJo20.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Johnathan Joseph<\/a><\/strong> is also playing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/nfl\/players\/playerpage\/518581\/johnathan-joseph\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">banged up<\/a>.\u00a0The absence of Jackson, and now Johnson will play a major part in the Texans upcoming games. Upcoming games against the <strong>Denver Broncos<\/strong>, and the <strong>Detroit Lions<\/strong>\u00a0will show us whether or not the Texans secondary will hold up. Both teams lay claim to a top group of wide receivers, and present an interesting challenge to the Texans. Already without 3 time Defensive Player of the Year, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WattJ.00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">J.J. Watt<\/a><\/strong>, the Texans will have their work cut out for them.\u00a0The injuries are piling up for the Texans, and their week 9 BYE week can&#8217;t come soon enough.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/O\/OsweBr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brock Osweiler<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>returns to Denver for week seven, facing the team that let him go on Monday Night Football.
