He has now played with three different teams over the last three seasons.<\/p>\n<p>Brown entered the NFL in the 2012 draft, being selected in the second round (52<sup>nd<\/sup> overall) by the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/titans\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tennessee Titans<\/a>. After the 2015 NFL season, Brown became an unrestricted free agent. He finished his Titans career with 261 total tackles, 10 sacks, six interceptions, and two touchdowns in 49 games.<\/p>\n<p>On April 4, 2016, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/bills\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buffalo Bills<\/a> signed Brown to a one-year, $1.25 million contract. Brown was initially supposed to back up rookie <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RaglRe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reggie Ragland<\/a><\/strong> but was forced to start at inside linebacker after Ragland suffered a torn ACL during training camp. Brown finished the 2016 season with a Pro Bowl invite after registering 149 tackles, four sacks, one interception, four passes defensed and two forced fumbles.<\/p>\n<p>Brown\u2019s stats slipped in 2017 with the Redskins, tallying 127 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and zero interceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Before signing with the Redskins in April 2017, Brown had met with several teams including the Bills as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/dolphins\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miami Dolphins<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/raiders\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oakland Raiders<\/a>. Brown likely will garner significant interest again this year, hoping to sign a multi-year contract, something he wasn\u2019t able to do this time last year.<\/p>\n<p>The Redskins are rumored to be interested in re-signing Brown. Head coach Jay Gruden told reporters at the Senior Bowl about Brown:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was impressed. &#8230; We got a very athletic guy that can run sideline to sideline and make some plays. He got hurt there a little bit at the end of the season unfortunately for him, but he had a solid year.
