Jeffery has been a key piece to the Eagles success, developing rapport with MVP candidate quarterback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WentCa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carson Wentz<\/a><\/strong>. The deal announced Saturday afternoon comes amidst one of Jeffery\u2019s strongest season in his career after arriving to the team on a one-year deal from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/bears\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chicago Bears<\/a> in the 2017 off-season.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Philadelphia Eagles Sign Alshon Jeffery to Extension<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Alshon Jeffery\u2019s extension will secure the stellar wide receive to the Eagles rhythmic and fun offense through the 2021 season. The price tagged to the 6\u20194\u201d target comes at $52 million, with $1 million in incentives, and another $27 million in guarantees \u2013 a complimentary reward for his performance so far.<\/p>\n<p>Jeffery has imposed his will on cornerbacks this season, catching 43 passes through 11 games. Those 43 receptions have turned into 619 yards and seven touchdowns, putting him on pace to beat his career high in touchdowns (10), and close to his career high in receptions (89). The 2017 campaign also marks a jovial season of health for Jeffery, who has not finished a season since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alshon [Jeffery] has been a tremendous addition to this organization on and off the field,&#8221; the Eagles said in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.philadelphiaeagles.com\/news\/article-1\/Eagles-Sign-WR-Alshon-Jeffery-To-Four-Year-Extension-Through-2021\/d812a5fa-d1d6-47f1-b01b-17a6563accea\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">team statement<\/a>. &#8220;We place a priority on making sure we are able to build the team around quality players like Alshon [Jeffery] who embrace this team and this city the way he has. We are excited about his future here.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In week 13, the Eagles will be traveling to the Northwest to take on the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/seahawks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seattle Seahawks<\/a> on Sunday Night Football; a highly anticipated and meaningful matchup for both teams. Jeffery will be facing a Seahawks defense without all-star cornerback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SherRi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Richard Sherman<\/a><\/strong>, but still will be looking to help the Eagles team come away with a revenge win after a mid-season loss in Seattle last year.
