However, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/bills\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Buffalo Bills<\/a>\u00a0rallied with\u00a0a touchdown and a game-winning field goal to win 30-27 at New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York.The Buccaneers have lost two games in a row and are 2-4 in 2017. They take on the reeling <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/panthers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carolina Panthers<\/a> next week.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Week Seven Tampa Bay Buccaneers Takeaways<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>Bills Win Battle of Field Goals<\/h3>\n<p>The game was a high scoring affair with 57 combined points between the Bills and the Buccaneers but it ended up being decided by the kicking game. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HumpAd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adam Humphries<\/a><\/strong> fumbled the football after an eight yard catch at the Buccaneers 25-yard line with 2:28 remaining in the game. The Bills milked the clock and former <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/seahawks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Seattle Seahawks<\/a> kicker <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HausSt00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Steven Hauschka<\/a><\/strong> hit a game-winning 30-yard field goal with 18 seconds left in the game.<\/p>\n<p>It was Hauschka&#8217;s third field goal of the game in four attempts, which included a made 52-yard field goal. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MurrPa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Murray<\/a><\/strong> of the Buccaneers also had two field goals in the first quarter, with his first being a 50-yard field goal. It was Murray&#8217;s first attempt of his career after converting his first extra point attempt last week against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/cardinals\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Cardinals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Deonte Thompson Was the Player of the Game<\/h3>\n<p>Bills wide receiver <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/ThomDe04.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deonte<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/ThomDe04.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Thompson<\/a><\/strong> came out of nowhere in a passing offense that was trying to find an answer without the injured <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/ClayCh00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Charles Clay<\/a><\/strong>, a hampered <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MattJo00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Matthews<\/a><\/strong> and a wildly ineffective <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JoneZa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zay Jones<\/a><\/strong>. This appeared to be one of the easier match ups coming up on the schedule for a struggling Buccaneers secondary, but one of their corner backs <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McClRo98.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert McClain<\/a><\/strong> would have a different experience after trying to cover Thompson.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoLe01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LeSean McCoy<\/a><\/strong> led the Bills with five receptions, but Thompson had the most receiving yards in the game with 107 yards. He also brought the Bills back from the brink of defeat. The Buccaneers had just completed what looked like a game deciding drive that went for 54 yards on 10 plays in\u00a0about six\u00a0minutes. The Buccaneers went ahead 27-20 on a 12-yard touchdown catch by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=EvanMi20,EvanMi00,EvanMi21&amp;search=Mike+Evans&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Evans<\/a><\/strong>. With just over three minutes remaining in the game, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TaylTy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyrod Taylor<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s first pass of the drive went to Thompson for 44 yards and the Bills were instantly in Buccaneers territory. A touchdown run by McCoy to tie the game\u00a0converted the drive in just three plays.<\/p>\n<h3>Buccaneers Could Not Stop the Run<\/h3>\n<p>The Buccaneers couldn&#8217;t establish the run in the first quarter and then couldn&#8217;t stop the run in the second quarter. The Buccaneers nearly allowed 200 yards last week to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=PeteAd01,PeteAd00&amp;search=Adrian+Peterson&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adrian Peterson<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0but this week they couldn&#8217;t figure out the triple threat of the Bills. McCoy ran for two touchdowns and 91 rushing yards on 23 carries. Taylor ran for 53 yards on six attempts. The\u00a0Bills also ran the hefty fullback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TolbMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Tolbert<\/a><\/strong> for three carries and 29 yards.
