*Note: Josh Gordon<\/a><\/strong> is still technically with the\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/strong>, however they’ve announced their intentions to release him.<\/p>\n

With Josh Gordon entering rehab instead of returning to the Browns, it appears as though his time with them is at an end. As talented as Gordon is, when he isn’t suspended, he will certainly be on an NFL roster next season.<\/p>\n

Potential Josh Gordon Landing Spots<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Philadelphia Eagles<\/strong> could certainly use Gordon’s talents, as their current wide receivers aren’t spectacular. Jordan Matthews<\/a><\/strong> is tied for second in the league in drops. Dorial Green-Beckham<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>hasn’t done much (yet). Nelson Agholor<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has certainly taken a step forward from last year, however he is still very inconsistent.\u00a0Josh Huff<\/a><\/strong> has not yet displayed the playmaking ability he showed in preseason.<\/p>\n

The Eagles seem to care less about character concerns than in the Chip Kelly<\/strong> era, adding Nigel Bradham<\/a><\/strong> and DGB. As long as he isn’t suspended, it seems like there’s a real chance for Gordon to land on Philly. Carson Wentz<\/a><\/strong> could certainly use his explosiveness.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Rams<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The man ahead of Jordan Matthews in drops is\u00a0Tavon Austin<\/a><\/strong>. The whole Los Angeles Rams<\/strong> receiving corps is a mess. Kenny Britt<\/a><\/strong> is underwhelming, but not bad. Brian Quick<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has disappeared. Pharoh Cooper<\/strong>, who looked pretty good coming into \u00a0the draft, but didn’t dazzle in preseason, is set to make his debut this week versus the Arizona Cardinals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles\u00a0needs a big name receiver, a player they can trust when the team eventually turns the offense over to Jared Goff<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Assuming Gordon cleans up his act, this could be the ideal spot for Gordon.<\/p>\n

Baltimore Ravens<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Baltimore Ravens<\/strong>\u00a0is the least likely option of the teams listed so far but it could still happen. Steve Smith<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is nearing the end of his career; 2016 will probably be his last season. If the Ravens are unsure that last year’s first-round pick Breshad Perriman<\/a><\/strong> is ready to be a real, play making receiver, they could go after Gordon as an upgrade.<\/p>\n

Tennessee Titans<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Tennessee Titans<\/strong> should be in panic mode, as none of their receivers are producing. Free agent acquisitions Rishard Matthews<\/a><\/strong> and Andre Johnson<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0have produced virtually nothing. Tajae<\/strong> Sharpe\u00a0<\/strong>has been encouraging, but not great. For a young quarterback to fully develop on the field, they need a really good wide receiver, and Gordon can fill that role for Marcus Mariota<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

San Diego Chargers<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Keenan Allen<\/a><\/strong> is a great receiver but unfortunately for him and the San Diego Chargers<\/strong>, he just can not stay healthy. The Chargers have absolutely no depth behind Allen, which is a baffling concept. It’s incredible to think that San Diego didn’t draft a single wide receiver this year. For a team this poorly managed, Josh Gordon could offer to play for one dollar and still get turned down. It’s a shame for Philip Rivers<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>that the Chargers don’t know how to manage a roster because Gordon could certainly produce in San Diego.<\/p>\n

New England Patriots<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Bill Belichick<\/strong> always seems to be in the market for almost all positions. Do the New England Patriots<\/strong> need receiver help? Not really that badly. Julian Edelman<\/a><\/strong> is fine. Chris Hogan<\/a><\/strong> and Danny Amendola<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>are both alright but not great. Behind them, the only notable player is Malcolm<\/strong> Mitchell<\/strong>, who could develop nicely, but isn’t ready yet. New England is a wildcard spot for Gordon to land.<\/p>\n
