We saw some impressive DFS <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/category\/fantasy\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fantasy<\/a> performances in week five, especially from the likes of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/search\/search.fcgi?pid=JoneAa20,JoneAa00&amp;search=Aaron+Jones&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aaron Jones<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GordMe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Melvin Gordon<\/a><\/strong> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/jaguars\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> defense. The <em>Fantasy Spotlight<\/em> breaks down the key players for you to target when making your week six GPP lineups on DraftKings.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Fantasy Spotlight: Week Six DraftKings Targets<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h2>Quarterback<\/h2>\n<h4>Drew Brees: New Orleans Saints vs Detroit Lions<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $7,200<\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/saints\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Orleans Saints<\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BreeDr00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Drew Brees<\/a><\/strong> return home after their London trip in week four and their bye in week five. In come the Detroit Lions with an improved defense, but they have allowed 255.8 passing yards per game, good enough for 27th in the league. Brees is almost automatic at home and this week should be no different for the future Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n<h4>Carson Palmer: Arizona Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $6,100<\/h4>\n<p>If you listen to the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/pickin-up-the-blitz-fantasy-football-podcast\/id1275907136?mt=2\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Pickin\u2019 up the Blitz<\/em><\/a>\u201d fantasy football podcast on ITunes, you know that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PalmCa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carson Palmer<\/a><\/strong> isn\u2019t exactly a favorite of mine. This week we can put that dislike aside as Palmer and the Cardinals take on a Buccaneers defense that is getting torched to the tune of 309 passing yards allowed per game. Couple that with Palmer averaging 22.5 fantasy points per game at home this season and you have yourself a solid DFS quarterback play for week six.<\/p>\n<p>Other Notables: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CousKi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kirk Cousins<\/a><\/strong> $6,800, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatsDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deshaun Watson<\/a><\/strong> $6,700 and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoJo01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh McCown<\/a><\/strong> $5,200<\/p>\n<h2>Running Back<\/h2>\n<h4>Mike Gillislee: New England Patriots at New York Jets<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $5,500<\/h4>\n<p>It has now been three weeks without a touchdown for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GillMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Gillislee<\/a><\/strong>. Despite being the unquestioned goal-line back on the Patriots, its been tough sledding for the leader of the #gillygonnaeat movement. The Jets have struggled against the run, allowing 143 rushing yards per game. If Gillislee was\u00a0ever in line for a bounce back game, it&#8217;s against this subpar <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/jets\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Jets<\/a> defensive front.<\/p>\n<h4>Javorius Allen:\u00a0Baltimore Ravens\u00a0vs Chicago\u00a0Bears<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $5,400<\/h4>\n<p>With <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WestTe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Terrance West<\/a><\/strong> most likely out this week, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AlleJa01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Javorius Allen<\/a><\/strong> becomes the top running back\u00a0in the\u00a0Ravens backfield. Facing a defense that got\u00a0shredded last week against the Minnesota\u00a0Vikings, Allen should get plenty of chances to make an impact. <strong>Alex\u00a0Collins<\/strong> will also get touches, but with Allen locked in as the\u00a0primary pass-catching option out of the backfield, he presents the better fantasy value.<\/p>\n<p>Other Notables: <strong>Le\u2019Veon Bell<\/strong> $9,600, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/E\/ElliAn00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Andre Ellington<\/a><\/strong> $5,300 and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/J\/JohnDu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duke Johnson<\/a><\/strong> $5,100<\/p>\n<h2>Wide Receiver<\/h2>\n<h4>DeAndre Hopkins: Houston Texans\u00a0vs\u00a0Cleveland Browns<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $8,100<\/h4>\n<p>There isn&#8217;t a whole lot to say here.\u00a0Even in a game which <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HopkDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeAndre Hopkins<\/a><\/strong> only caught four passes against Kansas City, three of them were for touchdowns. It is pretty clear by the amount of targets (61)\u00a0that Hopkins is the favorite option for rookie <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WatsDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deshaun Watson<\/a><\/strong>. Averaging 20.9 fantasy points per game,\u00a0Hopkins is worth every penny of his $8,100 salary in week six.<\/p>\n<h4>Amari Cooper:\u00a0Oakland Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $5,000<\/h4>\n<p>Perhaps no wide receiver has\u00a0taken more heat this season than <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CoopAm00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amari Cooper<\/a><\/strong>. The young wide-out has struggled with drops all season and has only eight catches over his last four games.\u00a0This is the type of player that can lead you to a big cashing week in\u00a0DraftKings.\u00a0His talent is there,\u00a0his\u00a0quarterback returns and\u00a0his salary is at an all-time low for DFS. Cooper is too good\u00a0not to turn it around. It&#8217;s worth taking a flyer that week six begins that\u00a0return to form.<\/p>\n<p>Other Notables: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LandJa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jarvis Landry<\/a><\/strong> $6,600, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/ThieAd00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adam Thielen<\/a><\/strong> $6,000 and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BryaMa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Martavis Bryant<\/a><\/strong> $4,700<\/p>\n<h2>Tight End<\/h2>\n<h4>Austin Seferian-Jenkins: New York Jets vs New England Patriots<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $4,300<\/h4>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SefeAu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Austin Seferian-Jenkins<\/a><\/strong> has been a welcome addition to the Jets offense. In three games, he has 15 catches on 18 targets. The Patriots rank 29th against opposing tight ends and rank dead last in passing yards allowed per game. If <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/McCoJo01.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Josh McCown<\/a><\/strong> and the surprising Jets are to have any success against the Patriots on Sunday, Seferian-Jenkins will have to be heavily involved in the offense.<\/p>\n<h4>David Njoku: Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans<\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $3,000<\/h4>\n<p>If you are looking to take a cheap flyer on someone at the tight end position, look no further than <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/N\/NjokDa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David Njoku<\/a><\/strong>. The rookie tight end showed off his great hands with an unbelievable one-handed catch for a touchdown last week against the Jets. The Texans have struggled some against tight ends ranking 18th and with the injuries on the Houston defense, Njoku will have a chance to find some open space on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Other Notables: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/G\/GrifRy00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ryan Griffin<\/a><\/strong> $4,000, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/H\/HenrHu00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hunter Henry<\/a><\/strong> $4,100 and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/K\/KittGe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">George Kittle<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>$3,400<\/p>\n<h3>Defense<\/h3>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/ravens\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baltimore Ravens<\/a><\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $3,700<\/h4>\n<p>Last week the Ravens defense was a successful pick in DraftKings and week six should be no different. Baltimore put up 17 fantasy points in week four against rookie <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/K\/KizeDe00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DeShone Kizer<\/a><\/strong> and this week they face another rookie in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TrubMi00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mitch Trubisky<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprofootball.com\/nfl-teams\/falcons\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Atlanta Falcons<\/a><\/h4>\n<h4>Salary: $3,500<\/h4>\n<p>The Falcons are coming off their bye and host the Miami Dolphins in week six. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AjayJa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jay Ajayi<\/a><\/strong> has struggled for the better part of three weeks and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CutlJa00.htm?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jay Cutler<\/a><\/strong> has been unable to get anything going offensively.
