They’re playing like crap, and the coach is deplorable. They fail at third downs on both sides of the ball, they can’t run, tackle, or catch the ball. The season is over just throw in the towel, there ain’t no winning the Super Bowl now.

That attitude is expected out of Cleveland Browns or Cincinnati Bengals fans, but Pittsburgh? Some fans believe the Steelers owe them a Super Bowl, deeming anything less a failure. How do they enjoy football season? The best part of the season is watching the Steelers evolve. Week three Pittsburgh Steelers what to watch for covers what the Steelers will likely do to jump start their season.

Week Four Pittsburgh Steelers What to Watch for

Ben Roethlisberger Distributes the Ball More

The Steelers have failed to gain traction on offense through their first three games of the season. They have made some plays here and there, but are struggling for the most part. Ben Roethlisberger has put much of the blame on his own shoulders, for locking on to one target. Roethlisberger has missed quite a few wide open receivers while locking on his default target, Antonio Brown, which he has vowed to change.

“I need to reel myself back in and just take what the defense gives us. Give us the best play possible, not just the best guy possible.” Roethlisberger acknowledged at a Wednesday press conference.

This is good news for Todd Haley and an offense that needs to get more players involved. The Baltimore Ravens defense is most vulnerable against teams with multiple weapons. Roethlisberger’s best games have come when distributing the ball to multiple targets. Look for him to spread the Ravens out from the no-huddle. Roethlisberger will mix in Le’Veon Bell, but will likely use the quick passing game to get the offense in rhythm. Haley is very good at setting defenses up for things he’d like to do later. This is the week he finds his own rhythm.

T.J. is Watt to Watch For on Defense

T.J. Watt has become a valuable member of the defense after just two games. He possesses an uncanny ability to find the ball and get after the quarterback. Watt brings energy to the defense. Furthermore, he has an intensity that rubs off on everyone around him. The return of Watt is just what the defense needs, in light of their performance against the Bears. It’s no coincidence the defense played their worst game of the season without him. Indeed, the return of Watt will be the catalyst to shutting down the Ravens offense. Look for Watt to collect at least one sack and force a turnover. His performance is the number one item in what to watch for on the defensive side of the football.

Week Four Pittsburgh Steelers What to Watch for – Conclusion

The Offensive Line Finds Their Swagger

Week three Pittsburgh Steelers what to watch for closes out with the offensive line. Success on offense begins and ends with the five men up front. Admittedly, they have not been playing very well to this point, but they are still one of the best. Led by Maurkice Pouncey, David DeCastro, and Marcus Gilbert, they are coached by one of the best ever in Mike Munchak. This group takes great pride in their job. Undoubtedly, they are looking to take out their recent frustrations on the Ravens defensive front through the running game. They rarely play two bad games in a row, and they won’t start this week. They will regain their swagger by the time the final seconds tick off the clock.

Embed from Getty Images

Week Four Pittsburgh Steelers What to Watch for: A few things to keep an eye on during the Steelers face the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

[54,9
138,153,411,61,98,412,40,81,896
post-31245","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-editorials","category-steelers","tag-antonio-brown","tag-ben-roethlisberger","tag-david-decastro","tag-football","tag-leveon-bell","tag-maurkice-pouncey","tag-nfl","tag-pittsburgh-steelers","tag-todd-haley
["GET
