Erick All Jr. is coming off a knee injury from back in 2024, and he missed all of 2025 after an infection cost him his second consecutive season. He looks to rebuild his career again with the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>. Tight end is the one position that could truly unlock Cincy’s offense, and All is the unique TE who is an excellent blocker and a threat in the passing game, with his wide frame that isn’t afraid to run you over. It’s a shame his rookie season was cut short because he was really starting to blossom and becoming a favorite target of franchise quarterback Joe Burrow<\/a>. Let’s examine the road to redemption for the Cincinnati native as he looks to return to form.<\/p>\n

The Erick All Jr. Redemption Tour Begins Again in Cincinnati<\/h2>\n

Rookie Magic<\/h3>\n

All was off to a promising start to his career in 2024, and he was showing why the Bengals were thrilled that he was available at pick 115 in the fourth round out of Michigan<\/a>. He was a dual-threat from the beginning and rounding into a player that Burrow could count on to be in the perfect spot when a play broke down or when the situation called for it. He was seemingly the missing piece of the Burrow offense, needed at just the right time, with the physicality that had long been absent on offense. All would end his promising rookie season playing in 9 games with 158 receiving yards,<\/a> averaging<\/span>\u00a07.9 yards per reception.<\/p>\n

Tough Times<\/h3>\n

Unfortunately, injuries have been the most prominent part of All’s story and career thus far. It’s why his draft stock was lower, and it goes all the way back to his time at Iowa, when he tore his ACL against Wisconsin. After transferring to Michigan, he had what was described as a “life-changing”<\/a> spine surgery at The BioSpine Institute in Florida. Fast forward to 2024, and the rest is known as the injury bug followed him in stripes. The biggest factor that has to give the Bengals coaching staff hope is how resilient a person All is, both physically and mentally, with the latter being the most impressive as he’s overcome devastating setbacks only to rise above it all stronger each time.<\/p>\n

2026 Outlook<\/h3>\n

The outlook for All in 2026 is extremely bright, even with some uncertainty about how number 83 will bounce back. The team is slowly bringing him along, as his reps were still limited in OTAs. It will be interesting to see how he moves and how involved he is early in training camp, which begins this week in Cincinnati. One thing is for certain: the high expectations<\/a> for All and the entire organization won’t faze anyone inside the locker room at Paycor Stadium. The team is focused, and this is the strongest roster in the Burrow and Zac Taylor era. It’s time for the Bengals to finally live up to lofty expectations and reclaim their spot as one of the best teams in the entire AFC.<\/p>\n
