Jackson left the Week 4 game injured, causing him to miss the next three weeks. Jackson also left the Week 16 game injured, causing him to miss the Week 17 game. In his eight full starts after this original injury, Jackson only had two top-10 weekly finishes, and his highest finish was the QB7. He was not the same after his first injury.

Jackson had nine passing touchdowns in the first three games, and just 12 during the rest of the season. With Derrick Henry being an elite running back, Jackson was not rushing for touchdowns, having just two during the season, tied for the lowest total of his career. Due to the injury, Jackson only had 67 rushing attempts, by far the lowest in his career. His next lowest was 112 in his 2022 season, where he only played in 12 games. Jackson and the Ravens have one of the weaker pass-catching rooms in the league.

Baltimore will need new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle to try to rejuvenate the offense. Doyle was with the Bears last season, who had a very successful offensive season in the Ben Johnson system. It will be a new scheme for Jackson to learn, but it should be a benefit to him. However, new offensive schemes can take a while to learn and perfect, so don’t be surprised if the offense struggles to begin the season.

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBSBIq805C" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 6240px; aspect-ratio: 6240/3512;" ></smartframe-embed>

Lamar Jackson Fantasy Football ADP

According to FantasyPros ADP, Jackson is the second quarterback being drafted in fantasy football drafts this summer. He has a heavy price tag in drafts, being the second quarterback drafted in Rounds 4-5. For him to be worth that price, he will have to finish as a top-two fantasy quarterback. There are so many other great options later in the draft, such as the 10-13 range that consists of Jaxson Dart, Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy. It is best to wait on quarterback this season in the early rounds and draft an elite wide receiver or running back instead, and get a good quarterback later in the draft.
