Josh Allen Fantasy Football Outlook For 2026 Season<\/b><\/h2>\n

Recent Production<\/b><\/h3>\n

Allen finished as the overall QB1 for the fourth time in his career in 2025. However, he finished with 364.62 fantasy points, which was the lowest of his career since 2019, when he was the QB8. Allen had 3,668 passing yards and 25 passing touchdowns, both of which were the lowest since 2019. His rushing was still up to par, having 14 rushing touchdowns, the second highest of his career.<\/span><\/p>\n

Allen was still able to finish as the QB1, despite being just 14th in passing attempts and 15th in red zone passing attempts. The Bills were also the slowest offense in the league last year and were 26th in total team plays. Allen makes his money rushing the football, being fifth among quarterbacks in carry share, third in carries per game, and first in red zone carries per game. 2026 Outlook<\/b><\/h3>\n

Buffalo traded for DJ Moore<\/a> and drafted Skyler Bell<\/a> to join Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, Keon Coleman and tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox. There still is not an alpha wide receiver on the team, but Moore provides Allen with a veteran pass catcher. The Bills will want to run the ball with Allen and running back James Cook.<\/span><\/p>\n

Josh Allen Fantasy ADP<\/b><\/h3>\n

According to <\/span>FantasyPros ADP<\/span><\/a>, Allen is the first quarterback being drafted in fantasy football drafts this summer. Overall, in non-superflex leagues, he is the 34th overall player drafted. In comparison, the next quarterback being drafted, Lamar Jackson, is being drafted at 56th. Allen is going two rounds earlier than the next-best quarterback. Allen is by far the best quarterback in fantasy football, which is shown through his ADP.<\/span><\/p>\n

These ADP numbers are still early in the summer, and most leagues have not drafted yet. Allen was the 23rd overall player in fantasy football drafts last year, so expect Allen\u2019s ADP to rise throughout the summer. If you want Allen in fantasy football this year, you will have to draft him in the second round, which is a very steep price for a quarterback.<\/span><\/p>\n

Should You Draft or Pass on Josh Allen in 2026 Fantasy Football?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Usually, in one-quarterback leagues, it is best to wait on a quarterback, as there are so many good options outside the top 10. For example, this year, Patrick Mahomes, Jaxson Dart and Matthew Stafford are all being drafted outside the top 10, and they have the upside to finish inside the top eight or five this year. If you pick a quarterback that early in the draft, he has to pay off and be a top two quarterback, and the odds of that happening are usually low.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, with Allen, he has proven that he is worth a second-round pick in fantasy football. For that reason, Allen is the only top quarterback it makes sense to draft early this year. On a side note, if you do go with Allen early, make sure to punt on tight ends and focus on building strong wide receivers and running backs to pair with Allen. Allen has shown no signs of slowing down, and he is in a great position to finish as a top two fantasy quarterback once more in 2026, making the Josh Allen fantasy outlook very encouraging.<\/span><\/p>\n
