According to the KeepTradeCut rankings, Achane is the RB5 in the dynasty running back rankings. Miami is in full rebuild mode, but they extended Achane to keep him on the team for the next five seasons.

Achane made his money in fantasy football due to his elite target share. A lot of that came from dump-offs from Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa is now on the Falcons, leading to Malik Willis as the new starter in Miami. Willis is more of a run-first quarterback, so he might scramble instead of checking it down to Achane.

The Dolphins are not going to try to win this season as they have their sights set on the 2027 NFL Draft and its strong quarterback class. Running backs generally perform better in fantasy when they are on a good offense, as it leads to more time on the field and scoring opportunities. Achane is such a talented player, but he has reached his maximum value in dynasty. Now is the time to trade away Achane.

Read More: Top 10 Dynasty Running Back Rankings

Oct 5, 2025; Inglewood, California, USA; Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton (8) runs against Washington Commanders nose tackle Daron Payne (94) in the first half at SoFi Stadium. This is a pretty steep ranking for a guy who has nine career games under his belt. He had 124 carries for 545 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He added 32 receptions on 35 targets for 192 yards and a receiving touchdown.

The Chargers brought in Keaton Mitchell to give them some more explosiveness in the backfield, whereas Hampton is the power back.
