However, he plays the game with great physicality and a high motor. Kamara was a highly impactful and productive player throughout his college career, recording 19.5 sacks and 40.5 tackles for loss in his last three seasons in college.

He played a big role in Indiana being one of the best defenses in college football over the last two seasons and is strong against both the run and the pass. Kamara also has special teams experience and recorded a huge blocked punt in the National Championship game. Kamara is a smart and experienced player with great toughness and the ability to make an impact on the game in many different ways.

S Jalen Stroman, Notre Dame

Stroman is a safety who plays the game with an extremely high motor and has a great skill set to potentially be a highly impactful special teams player in the NFL. He is an aggressive run defender and is quick to get downhill. Stroman also has the ability to cover bigger receivers and tight ends well in man coverage. Stroman had limited ball production during his college career with just one interception and six pass deflections in five seasons, and he also lacks great range, but his physicality, run defense, and potential special teams ability give him a good chance to make the 53-man roster for the 49ers.

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBTl2IP1Rt" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 5472px; aspect-ratio: 5472/3648;" ></smartframe-embed>

IDL Bryson Eason, Tennessee

Eason is an experienced player with tremendous play strength, and is great against the run. He has solid size and arm length for the position, and is strong at the point of attack. Eason has decent first-step quickness and also gives consistently good effort on every play. He still has some room to improve as a pass-rusher, and he recorded zero sacks during the 2025 season, but Eason is a very good run defender with good play strength and athletic ability, giving him a good chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

TE Khalil Dinkins, Penn State

Dinkins is a tight end with good athleticism and great blocking ability, and he has solid play strength and great competitive toughness. As a receiver, Dinkins has reliable hands along with good speed and overall movement skills. Dinkins is also a strong red-zone target. He did not have great overall receiving production at Penn State, and he needs to continue to improve as a route runner and his ability to make plays downfield. However, Dinkins is a versatile player with good potential as both a blocker and pass catcher and has the talent to potentially become an impactful player in the NFL.

WR Will Pauling, Notre Dame

Pauling is an undersized receiver, but he also has great athletic ability with elite straight-line speed. He ran a 4.37 40-yard dash time at his pro day, and also put up impressive numbers in the vertical jump and broad jump with a 42-inch vertical and 10-foot-8 inch broad jump. His 42-inch vertical jump would have ranked second-best at the NFL Combine.

Pauling was a leading receiver at Wisconsin, but failed to finish in the top three in receptions or receiving yards at Notre Dame last season. However, he was a highly productive red-zone target and led the team in receiving touchdowns. Pauling is an undersized slot receiver who still needs to continue to improve his ball skills, but the Notre Dame team captain has the speed, quickness, route running, and football IQ to potentially become an impactful player in the NFL.

Main Photo: Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images

San Francisco 49ers UDFAs who could make the team’s 53-man roster, and have an impact on the team during the 2026 season.

[1647,31
33533,32998,52
post-289840","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-draft","category-49ers","tag-2026-nfl-draft","tag-mikail-kamara","tag-san-francisco-49ers
["GET
