The New England Patriots star passer had a year to remember, as he ended the regular season with the league\u2019s highest QBR (77.1), was in the NFL MVP discussion, and eventually led the Patriots to the Super Bowl.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maye\u2019s meteoric rise was met with some skepticism, as he looked completely lost in a brutal Super Bowl defeat. A recent trade for disgruntled <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/category\/nfl-teams\/eagles\/\" target=\"_self\">Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> stud wide receiver A.J. Brown has calmed the seas, but Drake Maye dynasty managers are understandably wondering if he\u2019s more likely to regress or continue his climb up the NFL ladder.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><strong>Drake Maye Dynasty Fantasy Outlook for 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><strong>Assessing Drake Maye\u2019s 2025 Breakout<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maye was always supposed to be a hit for New England, as the team invested the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft on him. Maye flashed upside as a rookie, but last year, he really took his game to a whole new level, especially after quickly establishing rapport with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2026\/05\/09\/stefon-diggs-patriots-return\/\" target=\"_self\">wide receiver Stefon Diggs<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That resulted in Maye putting up 31 passing touchdowns, finishing fourth in passing yards, and pacing the entire league in completion percentage (72%).<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Drake Maye with a limited receiving core led the league in the following categories. <\/p>\n<p>Completion Percentage &#8211; 72% 6th all time <br \/>Yards Per Attempt- 8.9<br \/>Total QBR &#8211; 77.1<br \/>Passer Rating &#8211; 113.5<\/p>\n<p>He also set a single game NFL record for completion percentage of 90.4%. <\/p>\n<p>But yeah,\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Pats Pro (@PatsPro_21) <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PatsPro_21\/status\/2067601983846908336?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">June 18, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maye was fantastic at spreading the ball around, but he also knew how to utilize his top weapons. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maye\u2019s mobility and athleticism also came into play (422 rushing yards and four touchdowns), which helped him finish as the QB2 overall. This was a guy that could get it done for fantasy due to his dual threat ability, but when he has a legit stud to throw to, he clearly proved he can take his game to elite status.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><strong>Fantasy Impact of A.J. Brown Trade<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"max-width: px\"><smartframe-embed class=\"smartframe_wp_element\" customer-id=\"b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf\" image-id=\"WmOB7rwPVU8b\" style=\"width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 4000px; aspect-ratio: 4000\/2679;\" ><\/smartframe-embed><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s tough to ask for more from Maye, but the arrow is oddly enough still pointing up. There was definitely concern after New England let Stefon Diggs out the door, but a <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2026\/06\/02\/a-j-brown-dynasty-outlook-2026-patriots-trade\/\" target=\"_self\">recent trade to acquire A.J. Brown<\/a> calmed the masses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"EAGLES TRADE A.J. More than that, he\u2019s always been regarded as a more dominant and imposing receiver compared to Diggs, as he offers better size, more physicality, and is a more explosive threat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brown\u2019s ability to do damage with the ball in his hands and his red-zone chops (seven or more touchdowns in six of seven seasons) make him a major asset to the New England passing game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fantasy football championships aren\u2019t won on paper, but Brown looks like a huge addition for the Patriots, and Maye is <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2026\/06\/11\/patriots-qb-drake-maye-brown\/\" target=\"_self\">excited about his arrival<\/a>. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His presence should go a long way in preventing a sizable dip in Maye\u2019s 2026 production.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><strong>Drake Maye Dynasty Price<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should come as a shock to nobody that Drake Maye remains one of the best dynasty holds you can find. He was seen as a terrific buy even during his rookie season, and nothing he\u2019s done since then has negatively impacted his price.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a  href=\"https:\/\/keeptradecut.com\/dynasty-rankings\/players\/drake-maye-1551\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KeepTradeCut<\/a> has him costing a pretty penny to obtain, as he should go for an early first-round pick (and then some) in 2026 or 2027 drafts. That\u2019s not necessarily the case in 1QB formats, but you definitely need to pay up in 2QB or SF leagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The price is fair, as Maye proved last year that he\u2019s one of the best young signal callers the NFL has to offer. New England added a marquee talent to prevent any drop-off concerns, too.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><strong>Drake Maye Dynasty Outlook<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Drake Maye dynasty conversation is a simple one; he was a stud everyone wanted going into last year, and now he\u2019s someone who is extremely difficult to acquire. The addition of Brown cements Maye as a top-3 dynasty quarterback, and the cost to land him is arguably too extreme to stomach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That doesn\u2019t mean you shouldn\u2019t try, of course. If you have Maye, he\u2019s a hold. He should demand an epic league-altering haul if you do sell him, and anyone looking to buy him needs to be prepared to give up major assets to seal the deal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maye doesn\u2019t have much higher to go when <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2026\/06\/16\/top-10-dynasty-quarterbacks\/\" target=\"_self\">ranking dynasty fantasy quarterbacks<\/a>, thanks to the season he just enjoyed.
