With that, the star QB still has two years left on his deal, but since the Ravens and he are far apart on a new deal, it wouldn’t be the most shocking thing. Carolina Panthers<\/h3>\n

The Carolina Panthers are also in a weird spot with QB Bryce Young<\/a> and the latest contract negotiations. The team picked up Young’s fifth-year option, and if he has a disappointing 2026 season, it could raise questions about his future. The Panthers still have the advantage here; they drafted a promising WR, Chris Brazzell<\/a>, while securing Jalen Coker on a long-term deal. They just selected Tetairoa McMillan last offseason, who’s already exploded as the alpha of this pass offense.<\/p>\n

It’s high-stakes right now in Carolina, especially after strengthening their edge rush group, signing Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloyd. Young doesn’t really have an excuse here other than a depleted TE unit, but still, if he fails, don’t be surprised if they could get aggressive once again. The team selected Ty Simpson in the first round of this year’s draft<\/a>, but head coach Sean McVay didn’t look too pleased with the pick. As long as he’s around, after signing a new extension, the Rams should have one of the most dominant offenses for a long time.
