Here are five Chargers UDFAs who could make the team’s 53-man roster.

5 Chargers UDFAs Who Could Make an Impact On The Team In 2026

OT Isaiah World, Oregon

One of the best undrafted players in the 2026 draft class and arguably the best undrafted offensive lineman, World has the talent to be a productive player in the NFL. He had a bit of an inconsistent season in his one year at the Power Four conference level, and World also tore his ACL in the College Football Playoff against Indiana.

However, World is an experienced offensive lineman as a four-year starter with 51 total games played in college. Smith is really great in off-coverage with a great ability to quickly close throwing windows and attack the football. He recorded 14 pass deflections in 2024 and 11 pass deflections in 2025, but he does need to improve his ability to convert more of his plays on the ball into interceptions at the next level.

Smith is also a very willing run defender and has good special teams experience. He recorded both a blocked punt and a blocked field goal during his college career. With his special teams ability, Smith has a chance to earn a spot on the 53-man roster, and he has the potential to become a quality nickel corner as well.

CB Rodney Shelley, Georgia Tech

Like Smith, Shelley is an undersized cornerback, but Shelley possesses great long speed and good overall athletic ability.
