First, this is the way of a growing market for NFL receivers. If his price isn\u2019t there yet, it should arrive there soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s a fair assessment of his value, even if we\u2019re rolling mostly with upside. That was just from weeks 8-17, and during that stretch, he averaged 13.2 fantasy points per game &#8211; good for a share at WR22 in full PPR leagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Christian Watson Dynasty Outlook<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before this contract news, Watson was still looking like a guy worth targeting. His past production flashes and, more specifically, what he did in a featured role last year, made him a breakout candidate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A true breakout became even more likely when news broke that Romeo Doubs wouldn\u2019t be back with the team, while a Dontayvion Wicks trade later <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2026\/04\/17\/analyzing-the-depth-at-receiver-for-the-green-bay-packers\/\" target=\"_self\">opened up even more targets<\/a>. The team moved on from those players because they <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/nfl\/2026\/05\/24\/matthew-golden-breakout-2026\/\" target=\"_self\">saw a breakout coming for Matthew Golden<\/a>, but also because they remained high on Watson&#8217;s ceiling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Watson has to shed the injury label. He may never. However, a fat contract, extra targets, and his insane athleticism all combine to hand him a monster role for 2026 and beyond. Now he just needs to stay on the field and finally realize his potential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200b<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Due to the sheer upside here, Watson is a very strong hold and a guy worth buying at the right price.
