With that, it shouldn’t be too surprising if Cleveland makes him available for the right price. Earlier this offseason, the team modified the stalwart’s contract, which he signed last year. Garrett was frustrated with the current state of the roster last offseason, which led to him requesting a trade, but it feels like he could request one again.

Let’s state the obvious here: the defensive end is never going to win a Super Bowl with the Browns. By miracle, the Browns will reach the postseason once in the next three seasons. While Garrett has had somewhat of a successful tenure as a team, helping the Browns appear twice in the playoffs, he’s due for a championship. The 31-year-old hasn’t shown that he’s slowing down anytime soon, so why should Cleveland hold him hostage?

Main Photo: Sam Greene/The Enquirer-USA TODAY NETWORK

Myles Garrett Trade: Browns Expected to Move $160M Star After June 1

Despite the Browns hiring Todd Monken and drafting new receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, nobody should anticipate the team being a contender anytime soon. However, the superstar has exceeded other defensive players in terms of contracts, including Maxx Crosby, Micah Parsons and Aidan Hutchinson so he won’t be cheap. Will there be a team willing to throw it all out there to get Garrett? Most likely.

If the Browns decide to hold the defensive end, expect the trade to happen before the November deadline. This is where these four teams are prepared to make a push for the two-time Defensive Players of the Year.

Possible Next Teams

Carolina Panthers

With Tershawn Wharton recovering from neck surgery, the Carolina Panthers can’t afford to start him quickly. The good news is that the team hasn’t been afraid to overhaul its defense, signing Jaelan Phillips and Devin Lloyd to massive deals, which shows their investment in bringing in defensive playmakers. It proves what the Panthers want to build, and that’s a physical defense.

It wouldn’t be surprising if the Panthers make a strong push for Garrett during the 2026 season. If QB Bryce Young plays up to standards, they could raise the ceiling for this roster for their first NFC Championship appearance since the Cam Newton era.

Chicago Bears

Meanwhile, it’s an exciting time if you’re a Bears fan. QB Caleb Williams has proven himself as an elite pocket-passer, but there’s still work to do in terms of the defensive pass-rush. While the team traded DJ Moore, they also lost Tremaine Edmunds to the Giants. He has a proven veteran who helped keep this defensive unit like glue. However, they made some adjustments, including signing Devin Bush.

It isn’t enough. Dayo Odeyingbo and Austin Booker are solid, but there’s a hole there that needs some uplifting to keep up the pace with Montez Sweat. If the Bears acquire Garrett, they could very well call themselves Super Bowl champions next year.

Dallas Cowboys

Despite missing out on Maxx Crosby this offseason, the Dallas Cowboys might’ve saved themselves from disaster. The Ravens tried to get the star pass-rusher, but he could not pass the physical due to an injury he was still recovering from. The Cowboys went somewhat guns blazing, trading for Dee Winters to fill in depth and adding potential stars, Jaishawn Barham and Malachi Lawrence. Dallas is in a good spot defensively to continue to develop its talent.

However, with an aging Dak Prescott, the Cowboys want to win now. If Jerry Jones wants to put his money where his mouth is and get this team to finally make it to the NFC Championship Game, they should get Garrett.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have never been afraid of adding talent, and everyone should know by now that GM Howie Roseman always finds a way to make a trade work. After acquiring Jaelan Phillips last year, the team upgraded its defense and appeared in the postseason for a second consecutive season. While the team was a first-round exit, Phillips had done phenomenally well that campaign. There’s a guarantee that Garrett could pair with Jalen Carter to create one of the most dangerous defenses in the last decade.

It appears imminent that the Cleveland Browns will trade defensive stalwart Myles Garrett after the post-June 1 designation this offseason.

<smartframe-embed customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBWWVmQxKg" style="width: 100%;max-width: 4896px;aspect-ratio: 4896/2760"></smartframe-embed>
[36,30,23,8,19,6431,21
7739,7403,7809,7422,7576,9554,32193,33862,1472,246,7661,7393,3540
post-285305","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","category-panthers","category-bears","category-browns","category-cowboys","category-nfl-teams","category-eagles","tag-carolina-panthers-news","tag-chicago-bears-news","tag-cleveland-browns-news","tag-dallas-cowboys-news","tag-jaelan-phillips","tag-jalen-carter","tag-lastest-nfl-news","tag-malachi-lawrence","tag-myles-garrett","tag-nfl-news","tag-panthers-featured","tag-philadelphia-eagles-news","tag-tremaine-edmunds
["GET
