After months of preparation for the draft, there is still work to be done. Across the league, all 32 teams have started to sign undrafted free agents from the 2026 class. That includes the New York Giants, led by head coach John Harbaugh.

In his first draft with Big Blue, Harbaugh secured top talent. The team selected Arvell Reese fifth overall out of Ohio State. With the 10th overall pick, New York took Francis Mauigoa out of Miami. Rookie mini-camp starts in May for the Giants. Ahead of that, the team has signed several undrafted free agents to compete for a roster spot. Next, we’ll take a look at the complete list of UDFA signings in 2026 by New York.

New York Giants 2026 undrafted free agent signings

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOB8lWvJ13Q" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 4451px; aspect-ratio: 4451/3234;" ></smartframe-embed>

Thaddeus Dixon, Cornerback, North Carolina

Signing Thaddeus Dixon as an undrafted free agent was a move the Giants could not make quickly enough. The 24-year-old was a player New York highly coveted in the 2026 draft. Initially, the team believed Dixon would be taken in the sixth or seventh round. However, he went undrafted and has landed with John Harbaugh and the Giants. Dixon had a top 30 visit with New York. They clearly had an interest in the former Tar Heel. He plays well as an aggressive corner in press coverage. However, his tackling skills need work. Dixon will compete this offseason for a spot on the 53-man roster.

Dominic Zvada, Kicker, Michigan

In recent years, special teams have been a glaring weakness for the Giants. The team has struggled to have a reliable kicker who could stay healthy. New York hopes to change that under John Harbaugh. Following the 2026 NFL draft, the Giants agreed to terms with one of the top kickers in the class of 2026. Michigan’s Dominic Zvada signed with New York as an undrafted free agent. Despite being an All-American in 2024 with the Wolverines, Zvada went undrafted. He’ll have a chip on his shoulder entering the NFL. The UDFA will compete with veteran kicker Jason Sanders for the starting spot in 2026. Zvada recently shared a video of himself nailing a 70-yard field goal. Did New York find a long-term answer at kicker?

Ben Mann, Long snapper, Boston College

For the past six seasons, Casey Kreiter was the long snapper for the Giants. During free agency, Kreiter signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. New York signed Zach Triner to a one-year, $1.2 million deal for 2026. However, none of that money is guarenteed. Additionally, the Giants have signed undrafted free agent long snapper Ben Mann out of Boston College. Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network noted that Mann’s grandfather, Chuck Mercein, was drafted by New York. Mann is expected to compete with Triner for the starting long snapper role in 2026.

Anquin Barnes, Defensive Tackle, Colorado

The New York Giants traded Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals for the 10th pick in the draft. That has left a massive hole in the middle of the defense. However, the team drafted Bobby Jamison-Travis out of Auburn to help replace Lawrence’s production. Additionally, the team has signed undrafted free agent Anquin Barnes to their 90-man summer roster. During his previous two seasons with Colorado, Barnes was learning from an NFL Hall of Famer. His posistion coach was one-time Super Bowl champion and four-time All-Pro, Warren Sapp. Barnes has been learning from one of the top interior defensive linemen in NFL history. If he learns quickly and adjusts to the NFL. Barnes could be a rotational piece on defense for New York.

Damon Bankston, Running Back, New Mexico

Leading up to the 2026 NFL draft, there was a ton of speculation that the Giants would select Jeremiyah Love out of Notre Dame. However, New York did not have the opportunity to take Love with pick #5. He went off the board to Arizona at pick #3. During the draft, the Giants did not select a running back. On the current roster, they have Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy, Devin Singletary, and Eric Gray. Ahead of the rookie mini-camp in May, New York has signed undrafted free agent Damon Bankston out of New Mexico. Bankston brings skills as a runner, pass catcher, and returner on special teams. He had 1,466 all-purpose yards in 2025.

Evan Simon, Quarterback, Temple

On their current roster, the Giants have three quarterbacks. Jaxson Dart is the unquestioned starter. Jameis Winston is his backup, and New York signed Brandon Allen as QB3 this offseason. During the 2026 draft, the Giants did not add another QB to the roster. However, they did sign undrafted free agent Evan Simon out of Temple. Simon was at Rutgers University for three years before he transferred to play for the Owls in 2024. He is a graduate of Manheim Central High School. Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy also went to Manheim Central.

Ben Barten, Defensive Tackle, Wisconsin

The New York Giants have signed two undrafted defensive tackles to their roster. That includes Anquin Barnes out of Colorado. Additionally, the team signed Ben Barten out of Wisconsin. He played in all 12 games for the Badgers in 2025. At the 2026 scouting combine, Barten benched 225 pounds for an impressive 33 reps. New York would benefit greatly from his size if Barten can work his way onto the 53-man roster. Luckily for him, defensive tackle is a posistion the Giants are actively trying to fix. Could Barten be part of that plan for the future?

Dodji Dahoue, Offensive Line, Eastern Michigan

Former Eastern Michigan offensive lineman Dodji Dahoue has had a unique path. Dahoue was born in France. He was raised between the Washington, D.C. area and Mali. At 16, he graduated from high school in France and made his way back to the United States. From there, he went to junior college and eventually found his way to Eastern Michigan. During the 2025 season, Dahoue was a starter before an injury cut his season short. He will compete this offseason to make the New York Giants 53-man roster or the practice squad. He was signed as an undrafted free agent.

Ryan Schnecke, Offensive Tackle, Kutztown

Following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL draft on Saturday, April 25, teams started to shift gears slightly.
