A first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the California product quickly became one of the league’s best pass rushers and one of the most unstoppable players of the 2010s. Making eight Pro Bowls and earning First-Team All-Pro honors in 2017, Jordan has recorded 132 sacks, 175 tackles-for-loss, 248 quarterback hits, and 67 forced fumbles since entering the league. He remained productive last year despite his advanced age, starting and appearing in all 17 games while recording 10.5 sacks, 15 tackles-for-loss, and 15 quarterback hits.

Despite his strong play, Cameron Jordan hasn’t had much public free agent interest, and he recently spoke about potentially returning to the Saints. While it sounded like he wanted a change of scenery at the start of free agency, Jordan sounds more open to a reunion at this stage of the offseason.

“I don’t know,” Jordan said. “There’s nobody who produced the way I did last year, so. My talent speaks for itself. And if things work out, phenomenal. I’ve always said I understand the business side to it, so I’ve never worried about it.”

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="a61405551f80e72f675225f083759bb9" image-id="fwuQ7mOf5vV8" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 4000px; aspect-ratio: 4000/2667;" ></smartframe-embed>

Cameron Jordan Addresses Uncertain Saints Future

Cameron Jordan may want to return to the Saints, but the feeling might not be mutual. New Orleans acted under the impression Jordan would not return, and it might be too late for the future Hall of Famer to re-sign with his long-time team. While the organization didn’t select an edge rusher in the 2026 NFL Draft, they did trade for former first-round pick Tyree Wilson and recently signed former New England Patriot Anfernee Jennings. These two will provide depth for starters, Chase Young and Carl Granderson, leaving no clear spot for Jordan on the roster.

It’s clear that Cameron Jordan didn’t have the market he thought he would, but it’s still only a matter of time until someone brings him in. While he is entering his age-37 season, he still had a strong season last year and could be a solid veteran signing for a competing team looking to bolster their pass rush.

15-year veteran pass rusher Cameron Jordan has yet to find a new NFL home and recently spoke about re-joining the New Orleans Saints

<smartframe-embed customer-id="a61405551f80e72f675225f083759bb9" image-id="fwuQ2OSmQOe1" style="width: 100%;max-width: 4717px;aspect-ratio: 4717/3145"></smartframe-embed>
[36,28,6431
1178,7659
post-281081","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl-news","category-saints","category-nfl-teams","tag-cameron-jordan","tag-saints-featured
["GET
