College Production<\/b><\/h3>\n

Sadiq spent three seasons at tight end for the Oregon Ducks<\/a>. He only had 80 career receptions, with 51 of them coming in his final season, in which he had 560 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. This is<\/span> not a lot of collegiate production for a top 16 draft pick<\/span><\/a>, but he is an athletic freak.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

New York Jets Landing Spot<\/b><\/h3>\n

Last season, the Jets did not have a strong group of pass catchers behind Garrett Wilson. They traded for Adonai Mitchell as part of the Sauce Gardner trade with the Jets, and still have Mason Taylor (TE), Isaiah Williams (WR), and Arian Smith (WR). Expect a lot of 12 personnel (two tight end sets) with Taylor being the more traditional tight end, while Sadiq lining up wide in the slot. Unfortunately, the Jets traded back into the 1st round to take wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr.<\/a>, who played most of his time out of the slot for Indiana. Sadiq and Cooper are going to be competing for targets behind Wilson.<\/span><\/p>\n
